This is a testament to their hard work, dedication, and willingness to lay it out on the line night in and night out for their school. Here at PGH Tennessee, we have uncovered some juniors in the class of 2025, that will rise to the top and help take their team to new heights.
In the eastern part of the state, there’s something special about the young ladies who hoop in this area. Rich in talent, step in heritage, these young ladies just bring it on a nightly basis. No matter what is at stake, these young ladies just compete until the final whistle. Each year colleges and universities across the southeast and beyond, come to this area to find additions to their program. Some may be big power five schools, while others may be NAIA, either way Tennessee girls from this area consistently put on a collegiate jersey at the next level.
Here are just a few of the young ladies from the junior class that will be big X factors for their program this upcoming season.
Brady Branam Brady Branam 6'2" | PF TKA | 2025 State TN (6’2/F/TKA) – the Wofford commit is a beast downlow for TKA. She’s a walking double double, doing the grunt work for her ball club. Yes, she is money from the field, but what she does on the boards, as well as on the defensive end, she helps sets the tone for teammates. On offense, she has a bevy of countermoves that she uses in the paint as well as the mid range game. She’s going to be a huge impact for her squad this year, as they look to take major steps as they make major moves.
Karina Bystry Karina Bystry 5'10" | PG McMinn Central | 2025 State TN (5’10/PG/ McMinn Central)– led her Chargerettes team to the state championship game last year. This young lady is a bucket getter and she can spray you anywhere from the field. Has a nice quick first step that enables her to get downhill and attack the basket. Is poised with the ball in her hands, her ability to create off the dribble is immaculate. She’s a heady ball player that doesn’t force the issue, waiting on opportunities to pick her spots to strike. If she doesn’t have a shot opportunity, she won’t hesitate to dish it off to one of her teammates for a better opportunity. This year, she looks to get her squad back to the finish line as they compete for another opportunity for a state title.
Carley Kitts(5’9/F/Campbell Co.)– the all district, all region nominee is ready to step her game up and make an even bigger impact for her ball club. She can score the basketball from the field, but her ability to rebound as well as get assists plays a major part in what her ball club does. This year, Coach will be looking for her to take the necessary steps and play a bigger role than what she has in the past. Look for her to be a factor early and often as she and her teammates compete and make big strides this season.
Kyndra West Kyndra West 5'6" | PG Hardin Valley Academy | 2025 State TN (5’6/PG/ Hardin Valley Academy)– Another solid guard who is a fierce competitor. She puts the work in, doing whatever her ball club needs. Scoring, rebounding, dropping dimes., KWest is the leading catalyst for her club and her teammates feed off her energy. Had a stellar travel ball season, was in the gym this fall, and looks to take her game up a notch this upcoming year. Look for her to continue impressing coaches and scouts as she carved out an already impressive legacy at HVA.
Kami Wilson Kami Wilson 5'11" | SG Lakeway Christian Academy | 2025 State TN (5’11/G/ Lakeway Christian Academy)– She’s no stranger to finding the bottom of the net, she’s a bucket. A multi-level scoring threat who is poised with the ball in her hands. She exploits an opponent’s weakness, all the while staying cool, calm, and collected. Isn’t afraid to sit down and guard on the defensive end. Creating havoc is what she does. Solid prospect who is fun to watch as she gets after it and creates headaches for opponents .
Ze’Yana Stewart (5’8/G/ Oak Ridge) – District MVP is back for another go round. Fierce competitor who plays the game with a passion. Exceptional from inside the arc, she’s going at and through her opponents. She’s on the boards, she gets steals , she brings an all around game to the table every single night. Her mark is going to be left in every statistical category there is. Look for her to build upon the success she had last year in hopes for bigger gains this year.
Chloe Heath Chloe Heath 6'0" | SF Clinton | 2025 State TN (6’0/F/ Heritage)– This big is going to have a coming out party this year. She was nearly 50% from the field last year and with her ability to stretch the floor, she is deadly from both the outside as well as in. She’s a hard working two-way kid that gets after it on both ends of the floor. Her size creates mismatches and she’s a problem to deal with. Solid prospect who’s going to turn a lot more heads this upcoming season.

Her stock is up, as she continues to get better and turn the heads of collegiate coaches. She’s a go getter, getting buckets, making timely assists, and contributing on the boards. Look for her to continue on an upwards trend and add more to her already solid game.
