Ellie Knapp Ellie Knapp 5’6″ | PG Niles Brandywine | 2024 State MI , Holy Cross Commit, had one of the most impressive days of any baller in the gym at the Michigan Hardwood Classic. She led the way offensively scoring 15 points with 4 assists, 3 steals, and 3 triples. In transition she spun her defender like a top using multiple crossovers. Ellie used her shiftiness to create space off the dribble to knock down shots with step backs. Her inside out dribbles and pull up game made guarding her in the half court a monumental task. She buried multiple triples and caused turnovers with her quick hands and anticipation on defense. Ellie was an outstanding prospect to watch for Niles Brandywine.
Adeline Gill Adeline Gill 5’8″ | SF Brandywine | 2025 State MI made key plays offensively for Niles Brandywine in their victory at the Michigan Hardwood Classic. She hit a pull-up jumper and mulitple contested finishes at the rim in traffic. Adeline sees the floor and passes the ball to teammates for quality looks at the basket. She kept quality position defensively and added three steals during the game.

Avery Collins Avery Collins PG Blissfield | 2024 State MI gutted out an inspired performance for Blissfield at the Michigan Hardwood Classic. She put up 20 points with 9 rebounds and 4 steals in a hard fought battle. Avery finished many difficult shots around the rim and caused turnovers with her defensive awareness and pressure on ball handlers. Nearly every shot and layup Avery made was contested with defenders closing in, which shows you how tough and determined she was in this game. She worked hard for offensive rebounds and put backs to keep her team competing till the end.

Peyton Tennant (2025) impacted the game inside for Blissfield at the Michigan Hardwood Classic. She compiled a staggering 14 rebounds with another 8 points as well. Peyton finished strong at the rim off of missed shot attempts and continually out-worked her opponent for inside position. The extra possessions and points she created by effectively rebounding the ball on both ends was critical to Blissfield competing in the game all the way to the end.
Eliza Bush Eliza Bush 5’5″ | PG Arbor Prep | 2025 State MI made key plays for Arbor Prep and not all of them jump out on the stat sheet. She buried a wing 3 and what was more impressive was her toughness to anticipate an out of control drive and draw the charge. She handled the ball well under pressure, played good defense, and distributed the ball effectively for the Gators; Eliza finished with 6 points in their victory at the Michigan Hardwood Classic.
Stacy Utomi Stacy Utomi 5’10” | SF Arbor Prep | 2024 State MI quite simply refused to be stopped Wednesday at the Michigan Hardwood Classic. She stormed out of the gates with a 12 point first quarter, dominating the offensive glass. Stacy finished at the rim, stole passes, and hit jumpers. Her toughness was evident as she clearly played through lingering discomfort during the game. Stacy led the charge in a victorious effort for Arbor Prep in all aspects of the game.
Kamaria Sephus Kamaria Sephus 5’4″ | PG Wendell Philips Academy | 2026 State IL willed her team back into the game Wednesday at the Michigan Hardwood Classic. After trailing early, she lit it up with two wing 3’s outside and then hesi-faked out her defender and finished with a right finger roll in transition. Kamaria led Phillips offensively scoring 17 points with 5 triples against one of Michigan’s best.
LaKeeyah Barnes had her wiggle working for Phillips at the Michigan Hardwood Classic Wednesday. She utilized multiple behind the back crossover dribbles to create space and drain a pull-up in the closing seconds of the first quarter. LaKeeyah scored an impressive drive and floater finger roll in the paint and later elevated way up to score another contested floater. Her shifty ball handling and ability to finish in traffic were impressive to see and all 13 of her points were earned against a top Michigan opponent Wednesday.
