Week 3 Standouts – Part 1

Moreover, we look at some of the top performers from Alachua County, Clay County, and various counties from around the State of Florida. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='346818' first='Jayden' last='Terry'] is one of the smoothest and best players in the 2025 class and&nbsp; State of Florida.&nbsp; Terry is presently averaging over 18 points per game and had a monster game last week against Dunnellon, pouring in 30 points. including 11 free throws.&nbsp; . &nbsp; She was solid against Bucholz with 11 points,&nbsp; 6 rebounds, and a lot of leadership on the floor.&nbsp; Terry is a smooth and poised player who does a good job of controlling&nbsp; the pace of the game.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='655249' first='Jocelyn' last='Wallace'] is quick, shifty, and crafty, and balled out during week number 3.&nbsp; Against Bucholz, she posted a double double from the guard position - 17 points and 12 rebounds.&nbsp; &nbsp; Wallace can score in multiple ways,&nbsp; and is one in the best rebounding guards in the State.&nbsp; Wallace was impressive during the summer in travel ball and has been equally impressive during the first 3 weeks of high school ball.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='819898' first='Kendall' last='Ruise'] was bringing it on defense last week. Her all around play and great defense stood out last week against Bucholz and crashing the boards from the guard position was impressive. Ruise had numerous steals and transition points from the full court press. Her hustle and not being timid about diving on the floor were mvp plays that inspired her team. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='708143' first='Kendall' last='Proffitt']&nbsp; (8th grader) has been lighting it up on the varsity team. She shot lights out in week three, connecting on 14 threes and averaging nearly 18 points per game.&nbsp; Proffitt was special over the summer travel period and she has continued her special play on the high school level. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='221691' first='Mary' last='Kate Kent'] connected on 18 threes last week and had a 32 point and 7 three pointer performance in one of the games.&nbsp; Kent has always shot the three well and she is letting them fire at a rapid pace.&nbsp; The Senior sniper is averaging nearly 22 points per game for the season.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='633529' first='Mia' last='Chandler'] 15 points last week, and has found her stride in the last 2 games.&nbsp;&nbsp; Chandler has contributed in a lot of areas, including scoring and rebounding. The young Sophomore leads her team in the rebounding category averaging nearly 7 rebounds per game. Chandler has also done some amazing things in the transition game, including a coast to coast drive to the rim for a score. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='819897' first='Taylor' last='Mullins'] has been solid this season and through 4 games she has averaged over 10 points per game and made 7 threes for the season. Mullins makes plays in a lot of areas and averages several steals per game on the defensive end. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='221698' first='Courtney' last='Lowe'] played well during week three and was a standout at a recent tournament. Lowe had a 23 point and 8 rebound performance and another game with 17 points. Lowe can score in a lot of ways and is a very good perimeter shooter. <br></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='819896' first='Ashantii' last='Williams'] has been ruling the boards this season with 70 rebounds in 6 games ( 11.7 rebounds per game). Williams also has 7 blocks on the young season and is averaging over 6 points per game. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
