Participating teams included Highland, Mountain Ridge, Cibola, Mesa Mountain View, Tucson, Mountain Pointe, Paradise Valley, Thunderbird, Mingus, Centennial, Arcadia, Coconino, Bradshaw Mountain, Lee Williams, Kellis, and the host team Prescott.
The tournament showcased a mix of familiar and new faces, with numerous closely contested games and situations that will prove beneficial as each team heads into region play. Ultimately, the competition narrowed down to two formidable teams, Cibola and Kellis, both boasting talented rosters combining youth and star power. In a hard-fought battle, Kellis emerged victorious in this matchup with a final score of 55-47. Meanwhile, in the consolation game, Highland secured a third-place finish by defeating Prescott.
Shanielle Mallory Shanielle Mallory 5'4" | PG Kellis | 2026 State AZ of Kellis took home Tournament MVP honors, leading her Cougar team to an undefeated record throughout the tournament. Additionally, Prescott’s Addie Prisciandaro claimed the “Hot Shot Competition” title, scoring an impressive 37 points in 90 seconds and hitting 9 consecutive 3-pointers at one juncture.

Emilee Serale Emilee Serale 5’8″ | SF Highland | 2026 State AZ is Highland’s do-it-all super sophomore. From running the point guard position when needed, to defending the opponents’ post players when needed, to scoring the ball in a variety of ways. She excels most in the open court—whether pushing the ball or finishing at the rim. However, her game extends beyond that. She is capable of catching and shooting from three, as well as driving strong right or left to finish at the rim. Emilee is a perfect fit for this Highland team this year, and as her offensive game continues to grow, she will become a matchup nightmare for opponents in the very near future.
Bailey Williams Bailey Williams 5’7″ | PG Highland | 2027 State AZ does not play or carry herself like a typical freshman. She utilizes her change-of-pace and change-of-direction very effectively. She is willing to engage two defenders while using her dribble in order to get teammates open. Bailey uses her eyes to communicate and plays with good strength, balance, and plays off two feet when attacking the paint. Over the remainder of this season and into Bailey’s immediate career, I look for her offensive game to continue to grow and become an absolute game-changer beginning next season. Highland will be in very good hands with Bailey running the point for the next four seasons.
Jaida Bosch
Jaida Bosch
Jaida Bosch represents the future of the Cibola program. Standing at 5’10” and still growing, Jaida is athletic, long, and capable of guarding all 5 positions. She is most effective defending off the ball in a weak-side position, where she can read and react to poor passes or long skip passes. Jaida rebounds very well and has a knack for quick outlet passes to ignite the Cibola fast break. Her offensive game consists of a little bit of everything, setting her up for a very promising career. Jaida excels most at running the floor and finishing in transition, rebounding and putting back misses on the offensive glass, and knocking down perimeter jump shots.
Addie Prisciandaro
Addie Prisciandaro
Addie Prisciandaro is poised to break every shooting record at Prescott. She must absolutely be accounted for at all times on offense, both in the half court and full court. Addie is capable and willing to let it fly from 20 feet and beyond, serving as a floor-stretcher and zone buster. In 8 games already this season, she has hit 3 or more 3-pointers with a season high of 7 in late November. Addie also excels at pushing tempo with her dribble in transition and quickly moving into newly open created spaces while defenses attempt to set up following transition.
Savannah Tobias Savannah Tobias 5’10” | SF Cottonwood | 2027 State AZ plays a very mature style of game as a freshman and allows the game to come to her. Nothing is ever forced, and she remains unfazed by opponents or situations. Savannah demonstrates a keen ability to assess defenders in one-on-one situations with the ball in her hands on the perimeter, strategically saving her dribble, setting up her defender, and then exploding to her right or left off the dribble. Additionally, she moves very well off the ball and possesses a strong sense of finding open spots to slide into for scoring opportunities. Savannah also excels in rebounding, particularly offensively, using a quick second jump. Savannah will be a daily double-double threat throughout her playing career.
