Teeter has help spur her Cannon County team to a 15-5 record, with a recent win over Cascade in which she scored a career high 20 points. Abi Alexander gets most of the Cannon pub, but Teeter is turning into a lethal scoring option in her own right. She’s a two way player that helps give Cannon a chance to make some real noise in the post season. Post season is all about matchups, getting stops, and having shot makers (everyone has shot takers—but you need makers). Cannon has the makings a team that could cause some real issues.

I feel like I owe Carly an apology…..so here goes: Carlee Lowry Carlee Lowry 5’9″ | SF Signal Mountain | 2025 State TN , you’re a dang baller and I’m sorry I’ve missed so much of it. The Signal Mountain product is a 5’11 inside-out post. She’s been averaging close to 24 points and 10 rebounds all season, while approaching 30 on numerous occasions. She’s led her team into the top 10, and she’s been doing this for year. Lowry deserves more recognition for her well refined game.
Caroline Hill
Caroline Hill
Hill is a Carson Newman commit that I haven’t mentioned even once this year on a DB team that already won more games than they did all of last season. Hill recently surpassed the 1,000 point mark for her career, and is one of the best ’24 shooters in the state. She’s averaging 2.5 made threes a game, with two games of eight mades threes, and one game of seven made threes. When Hill gets hot….kid is a flame thrower.
Allie Lingerfelt
Allie Lingerfelt
Lingerfelt is currently sitting in the top 5 in the state in made threes per game at 3.4. She’s a lights out shooter who recently surpassed the 1000 point mark for her career. In a recent win over Volunteer, she exploded for 22 points and six made threes. She’s put together a tremendous season, and she definitely deserves recognition for her career achievements as well.
Hannah Frye
Hannah Frye
Frye has quietly put together a really nice two way season for a DB team that’s surpassed last year’s win total already. She’s been a constant 14 points and 8 boards. She’s got nice hands and soft touch which makes her really tough to handle in the post. She’s also a competitive rebounder that battles every possession. An unsigned ’24 that I believe could help someone’s program. She’s just too good at too many things not to.
Madi Hawk is a Wofford commit that rarely gets mentioned. She’s put together a prolific career as a scorer and rebounder, and is one of the best ’24s in the state. She’s a supreme athlete and versatile two-way player. Tennessee HS basketball fans are excited to watch Hawk and Molly Masingale Molly Masingale 5’9″ | SF McMinn Co. | 2024 State TN team up together at Wofford. Until them, Hawks will be teaming up with Peyton Wood as Jefferson attempts to make post season noise.
I’ve only mentioned her once this year, and she’s just too good. As we come down the stretch, and GP is aiming to make another post season run, the play of Glasper will be key. Maddie Newman has been superb–24 points, 2 rebounds, shooting 60%. The questions will fall on the GP guard play of Nya Burns Nya Burns 5’7″ | CG Gatlinburg-Pittman | 2026 State TN and Glasper. Glasper is the type of player that can get hot, and once she get’s rolling, she can win you a game. You need that sort of guard play come March.

Widely regarded as the best ’26 PG in her class, I often fail to mention Thompson as she plays in Memphis (6 hours away). But that’s not her fault…the kid is a silky smooth playmaker with a dynamic change of pace game. Few players can stay in front of her 1 on 1 without needing a help defender. Great court vision, and teaming up nicely with junior guard Shelby Gray Shelby Gray 5’6″ | PG Westwood | 2025 State TN (Gray is a super-high scoring playmaker with multiple double doubles this season).
A Miss Basketball candidate that I’ve only mentioned once! And she’s the type of player I love: impacts the game on many levels, and plays on both ends. The 5’3 Sr PG is averaging: 16 points, 6 assists (2nd in 2A), 4 steals (5th in 2A), and 5 rebounds per game. She recorded a quadruple double earlier this year with 16/14/11/11! She will also surpass the 1,000 point mark very soon. Thomas is a superb basketball player that just “get’s it.” Well done young lady.

Davis is a really nice ’25 combo guard that we have failed to mention, and makes a great duo with Erianna Thomas Erianna Thomas 5’5″ | PG Pearl-Cohn | 2024 State TN . She’s a guard that’s capable of scoring anywhere between 14 and 20 on any given night. She’s had multiple 20 point games, and multiple games of 4 or more made 3’s. She’s a high level shot maker, but is also averaging nearly 8 rebounds. I really like this kid’s potential, and it’ll will be interesting to watch PC in postseason play.
