Walden is ELITE! Skylar finished the game with 22 points, 4 rebounds, & 2 assists! This young freshman truly checks off all of the boxes to play at the next level! She is great at attacking the rim and finishing! Walden has one of the nicest euro steps that you will find. Skylar’s mindset and extremely high IQ puts her in a class of her own. I don’t think that you will find an athlete with a tougher mindset than Walden! She’s a young freshman that is going to continue to get better in every aspect because that is what she does. How scary is that for opponents? A better Walden?!
Highlights
I knew the rebounding machine was close to another double-double. Brady finished with 12 points, 9 rebounds, and 2 blocks! She’s a strong finisher at the rim with either hand. Branam is also fun to watch on the low block! You know when Brady catches it in the paint and uses her great footwork that she is scoring. The D1 talent is fun to watch!
Tiana was the unsung hero on the night! This was one of the best all-around games that I have watched from Branam! Tiana finished with 8 points, 7 rebounds, and 1 steal! She was a solid defender and she truly hit the boards hard to add to her hustle stats!
Highlights
This was my first time watching Williams on the year and she was truly impressive! Reghan has a quick first step and she knows how to get by defenders, attack downhill, and finish! If Williams wasn’t finishing the old-fashioned 3 point plays, then she was knocking down 3’s to keep her team close to a tough TKA squad! Keep your eyes on Reghan because this one has an extremely high ceiling!

Hill was able to drop in 18 points on the night against Cosby! She also contributed a number of steals, rebounds, and assists! Hill has a beautiful high arching shot! Ebany was able to score in bunches and fast! If she gets to the elbow or anywhere in the mid-range, she is automatic! Keep your eyes on this shooting guard!
Halle Bailey
Halle Bailey
Halle finished with 10 points, 2 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 steals against Gatlinburg-Pittman. Bailey’s defense continues to impress! When I say to give me heart, hustle, & determination over size, I mean it! Halle’s heart is larger & taller than any player on the court! Bailey has one of the best floaters that you will find! I don’t know what plans Halle has at the next level, but I know the softball standout could also be a great asset on the basketball court at the next level too! Congrats on MVP, you EARNED it!
Yes, Alcoa has Stewart, Gwen Carroll Gwen Carroll 5’10” | SF Alcoa | 2026 TN , and Pfeiffer on the same team! Congrats to those 3 on making the All-Tournament Team! Maddy continues to put up great numbers! Stewart finished with 5 points and 6 rebounds against Gatlinburg-Pittman. The young sophomore will be a walking double-double next season and her senior season! Stewart and Carroll are true stock risers and I expect the recruitment journey to soon take off for both of them!
Newman is a special D1 talent! The forward runs the floor and she gets rewarded! I can see this happening a lot at the next level too! Despite the loss, Maddy was impressive on both ends of the floor. She’s a tough defender and she continues to show dominance in the paint. Who else thinks that we could potentially see another Gatlinburg-Pittman/Alcoa rematch?! If we don’t, we will get to see two extremely talented competitors teaming up next year at Tennessee Tech!
Cawood finished the night with 16 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists, and 7 steals! My favorite stat line is the 7 steals! I thought this had to be an error in the typing. However, after going back and watching film, why would I ever doubt Cawood with 7 steals?! Kyleigh is a great leader and she’s also a leader on defense. She plays extremely tough and the way she competes ignites her teammates! The poised point guard that leads her team nightly will soon be a name known all over our state! She’s a winner and she willed her team to another victory!
Highlights
Armes is playing extremely well at the right time! Addie poured in 13 points and 4 rebounds. Of course, she added 2 blocks to her stat line too! Addie is going to continue to put up numbers like this as she is due a big end of the year! One thing that I continue to notice is the impact that Armes makes on the defensive side. Her size is a problem for smaller athletes and she continues to force turnovers! The offensive rebound & put back is also something that you will continue to see from the junior! If you don’t have Armes on your radar, you should. How many 6 footers are still available out there?! I’ll reiterate that if Addie keeps working, she has an extremely high ceiling!

Rilee Goodson
Rilee Goodson
You have to appreciate the effort and the fight to make the 4th quarter come back run by Oakdale! The defense in the fourth quarter was the difference maker! They fought hard and competed through 2 overtimes to try to pull out the win. Rilee had numerous deflections and stops! Despite the loss, Goodson is a promising talent with a bright future! You will see more of this young Oakdale team!
