Ok Coop! Emma Cooper Emma Cooper 6’1″ | PF York Institute | 2026 State TN had herself a night, helping leading York to another district championship last night. Cooper led the Dragonettes in scoring and rebound, she protected the rim, she battled for post spots. She did everything you’d hope from your big….and some. Congrats to York for another district Championship!
Raylee Werner came up big with 2 huge first half bombs, and usual elite defense. Zoe Gibson Zoe Gibson 5’11” | PG York Institute | 2027 TN played. Reese Beaty Reese Beaty 5’8″ | PG York Institute | 2025 State TN is Reese Beaty Reese Beaty 5’8″ | PG York Institute | 2025 State TN .
Bearden beat Farragut for their 5th straight district championship last night. In what was an extremely close game at the half, Bearden pulled away. Natalya Hodge Natalya Hodge 5’7″ | CG Bearden | 2026 State TN was tournament MVP, Kendall Murphy, Aisha Patel Aisha Patel 6’0″ | PF Bearden | 2025 State TN , and Rachel Wilhoit Rachel Wilhoit 5’8″ | SG Carter | 2024 State TN were all named to the All-Tournament team.
The Bearden girls are now 26-2 and ranked #3 in the AP Poll.
Maryville dominated their consolation game versus Williams Blount, and they feel like a dangerous squad heading into the Region tourney. Jada Edwards Jada Edwards 5’10” | SF Maryville | 2024 State TN led the way with 15, Zoe Harrison had a huge first half and finished with 11. For William Blount, ’25 Savannah Darnell Savannah Darnell 5’8″ | SG William Blount | 2025 State TN led with 19.
David Crockett dominated Elizabethon to bring home another district tournament championship (61-38). They had nice performances from several player:
Sophomore Brylee Tulluck was great with 18 points and 4 assists. Aaliyah Story Aaliyah Story 6’0″ | C David Crockett | 2026 State TN had 15 points, 9 rebounds, and 2 blocks. Bella Ferguson had a 7 point, 8 assists perfomance as the ideal PG.
David Crockett is now 24-4, and looking really dangerous as they’ve been red hot.
Coffee County (28-3) narrowly beat a hot Lincoln County club, as they won another district tournament championship last night (49-45). Natalie Barnes Natalie Barnes 5’7″ | SG Coffee Co. | 2026 State TN led the way with 20 points, and hit big shot after big shot. She’s a shooter, and shooter’s shoot….and she kept shooting without fear. Barnes brought home tourney MVP honors.
Freshman PG Jules Ferrell Jules Ferrell 5’7″ | PG Coffee County Central | 2027 TN had 11 points, and Channah Gannon Channah Gannon 6’0″ | PF Coffee Co. | 2025 State TN had 9 points.
Highlights
Coffee County’s Olivia Vinson Olivia Vinson 5’11” | SG Coffee Co. | 2025 State TN scored 7 points in their district tournament championship over Lincoln County. In doing so, the regular season district MVP, surpassed 1,000 points for her career! Congrats on a great season…..and great career so far!
