Julia Kelly
Washington-Liberty’s three-point shooting kept them in the game against Centreville on Tuesday. Julia Kelly had a great first half, and her shooting was terrific. Eve Jungman Eve Jungman 6’3″ | C Washington-Liberty | 2026 VA is this team’s best player, and most of the offense runs through her. She missed a lot of the first half dealing with foul trouble and a little bit of an injury, so they needed all of what Julia gave them. She knocked down 4 threes and led her team in scoring with 14. She knocked down a couple of tough threes, and Centreville started sticking to her in the second half, not letting her get good looks.
Sofia Caraus Sofia Caraus 5’9″ | SG Centreville | 2026 State VA has shot the lights out of the ball over the past month and had another outstanding game against Washington-Liberty. Sofia’s shooting helped Centreville get a bit of cushion in this game, and she had a few free throws at the end that fully iced it. Sofia is one of the best spot-up shooters I have seen this year, and she led all scorers with 18.
Jahniya was great attacking the rim, as she always is, finishing through contact and having some excellent finishes. She got to the line a lot and set the tone for Centreville early. What she did as a facilitator impressed me the most about Jahniya in this game. She got her teammates involved a lot and took care of the ball. Jahniya finished with 16 in a highly impactful performance.
Abby Goodman
Abby Goodman
Chantilly has been playing great lately, and they upset a fantastic Langley team to advance to the semi-finals. Chantilly had a nice day shooting, and Abby Goodman led that. She knocked down 3 threes and equaled a game-high 15 points. Langley’s defense is fantastic, and Chantilly had a lot of success against them, and the play of their guards had a lot to do with that.
As I mentioned, the Chantilly backcourt had a great game. Alivia Tarry Alivia Tarry 5’7″ | PG Chantilly | 2026 State VA has been forced into being Chantilly’s primary ball handler because of injury, and she has done a great job at it. Alivia matched Goodman with 15 points and was clutch down the stretch of this game. She had 8 fourth-quarter points and continued her outstanding play as of late.

Robinson has been great all year, and they have a lot of players that people sleep on. One of them is Mckenna Huff. Mckenna is a great shooter and showed out in Robinson’s win over Lake Braddock. She put in 20 points to lead Robinson to an 11-point victory.
