Rasheen Johnson | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
The sharp shooter who started her career at Centerville but had a very productive season at Virginia Academy last season. This year look for her to be one of the top offensive threats for a good Virginia Academy team. Had a good showing this AAU season next year. She will take her talents up north to the University of Albany.

Still has been one of the more consistent players in the 2026 class. Sofia is a good set shooter and can knock down the three point shot at a high level. Over the years she has expanded her game showing that she can be a playmaker with the ball in her hands. Centreville has a complement of good players returning with her skill set and experience, I look for her to help her team have a deep run into the playoffs.

has one of the best looking jump shots I’ve seen. She is an excellent spot-up shooter and shoots the ball with high efficiency. This year, Centreville had so much talent, and Sofia’s shooting complimented them perfectly. I always expect her shots to go in when Sofia gets a good look, and she is almost automatic from the corner. When I watched Sofia at the prep hoops showcase in September, she showed a little bit more as a creator, so it will be interesting if that’s something you see more with her. Either way, this is one of the best shooters in the state.

Confident shooter, torched the net from 3pt land shooting 5-7 on the night. Contributed 17 points and 4 rebounds in a quarterfinal win. One of the best shooters in the state, smooth stroke with consistent form on each shot. She sprints the floor and has great footwork and ready to shoot on the catch. She can shoot off the dribble, with/without a screen and moves into open space when her teammates drive.

has shot the lights out of the ball over the past month and had another outstanding game against Washington-Liberty. Sofia’s shooting helped Centreville get a bit of cushion in this game, and she had a few free throws at the end that fully iced it. Sofia is one of the best spot-up shooters I have seen this year, and she led all scorers with 18.

led Centreville in scoring in both of their games this week. Centreville opened their week with a hard-fought one-point win over an excellent Oakton team. Sofia had 17 points and led all scorers in that Oakton win. Then, on Friday, in a nice 20-point win over James Madison, Sofia had 16. Sofia knocked down threes all week and showed why she is such a pivotal piece to a top-20 team in the state.

had a terrific day offensively. She knocked down a bunch of threes and looked comfortable wherever she was. She’s a smart offensive player and picks her shots well. She rebounded well, too, and had a couple of nice takes. Centreville is loaded this year, and Sofia will play a part in them being one of the best teams in NOVA.
