had another great game and was Centreville’s best player on the night. She made winning plays down the stretch of this game, making the right passes and scoring some big buckets. She helped Centreville get a lead late in this game after being down for most of the game prior. She finished with 16.

Jahniya was great attacking the rim, as she always is, finishing through contact and having some excellent finishes. She got to the line a lot and set the tone for Centreville early. What she did as a facilitator impressed me the most about Jahniya in this game. She got her teammates involved a lot and took care of the ball. Jahniya finished with 16 in a highly impactful performance.

was district player of the year last year and had a fantastic season. Centreville will be an excellent team, and Jahniya has a chance of repeating. She can play either guard position effectively and is a superb athlete. She gets to the rim a lot and puts pressure on the defense. She knocks down jump shots and fits really well as a distributor, too. Jahniya always plays hard. Her transfer to Centreville last year was one of the best moves for her. Jahniya could very easily be on the first team because, again, she was district player of the year in a loaded conference.

this year for Centreville. She was the player of the year in her conference and was the best player on an outstanding Centreville team. She has a high ceiling that she has yet to reach. She is a tremendous athlete and a good defender. It will be huge for her game if Jahniya refines some of the parts offensively as a half-court scorer. She will be a big player this AAU season, and her stock will rise, which is saying a lot, considering she’s ranked 33rd in Virginia for 2024.
