In a tremendous district championship game between two 2A state powerhouses (Alcoa versus Gatlinburg-Pittman), Alcoa pulled out the 53-50 upset.rnrnSophomore guard Halle Bailey, had a tremendous run through the tournament, on her way to earning MVP honors.  Her solid play through the tournement kept the Alcoa ship steady.  She stayed poised, continuously made the right plays, and battled on both ends.  She finished with 10 points and 3 assists in the 'ship.
