15.3 PPG
10 RPG
2.8 SPG
4 BPG
Among the most productive frontcourt athletes in the Colorado Springs area, Bruner remains among the premier interior defenders for this class. A high motor rebounder whose physical strength lets her compete in the post or glass with the best. Bringing quick reactions at the point of attack, she is quick to get both hands up for deflections or blocks. Up to 72% from the free throw line, the forward is not worth fouling, more than capable of contributing those opportunities. Attempting ten or more free throws in three separate games this season, Bruner remains a highly intriguing frontcourt prospect within this 2024 class.

Northfield’s success was no accident, up at 24-4, they will continue to be atop the 5A standings over the foreseeable future. Her strong frame allows her to defend both frontcourt positions without fouling. Effective keeping both arms up on contests, Northfield has remained one of the best defensive programs in part from Ellerbee’s impact in the paint. This is on top of her endless motor, always a threat for a putback. While retaining the bulk of their contributors, Northfield looks to be in prime position for another deep playoff run.
Seilani Relford Seilani Relford 5'9" | PF Overland | 2024 State CO

6.8 RPG
2.6 SPG
1 BPG
Relford is an intriguing multi-positional defender, capable of matching up against opposing guards or guarding up against taller forwards. Bringing a wiry frame, she is not easy to move around while she defends drives. Around the rim, Relford has soft touch with either hand, certainly a dependable finisher. An active off-ball slasher, Relford stays active along the baseline or filling open space upon teammate drives.
Jentry Marx Jentry Marx 5'11" | PF Limon | 2024 State CO
15.8 PPG
9.6 RPG

4.5 SPG
1.7 BPG
Another high motor forward, Marx was a consistent producer at the 2A level with 15-8 LImon. Active vying for position once the shot went up, opposing teams often struggled to keep her from impacting those opportunities. An efficient finisher around the rim through contact, LImon ran the bulk of their offense through Marx post-ups. The continued growth of her offensive game will be fascinating to follow, given her high floor of production as is.

Continue ReadingGrace Roscoe Grace Roscoe 6'2" | C Mountain Vista | 2024 State CO
14.7 PPG
12.7 RPG
Among the most consistent rebounders in this class, there were only a handful of opponents in the 6A level who could compete with the 6’2 center. Physically stronger than the vast majority of opponents, there was little opponents could do once Roscoe secured the box out. Playing off of one of the more promising backcourt duos in the Spellman sisters, Roscoe was active diving to the rim off of ball screens, creating openings for those guards in part from her own gravity. She remains one of the most productive two-way rebounders in the state.
