This class contains numerous prospects who were very instrumental in their respective team’s success. Some were successful enough to help lead their teams to the Final Four in Lakeland and play well on that big stage. In this article we focus on some of the elite talent in the top 20 in the class of 2027. I had the opportunity to see most of these players in various gyms in the State of Florida. These players delivered special performances and were recognized by many as elite prospects in the building.
Madi Mignery Madi Mignery 6’1″ | SF Cardinal Mooney | 2027 State FL stood out at the Inside Exposure Thanksgiving tournament at Bolles High School. Mignery played with demeanor and confidence not normally seen in a Freshman player. Her play on the court was also special. Her rebounding ability, the ability to score on the inside as well on the perimeter was telling. Fast forward to now and Mignery was special in a lot of buildings, including one where she posted a 17 point – 21 rebound game.
Falisa White Falisa White 6’2″ | SF Ed White | 2027 State FL caught my eye as an 8th grader during National Championship in Orlando. Then she was standout at a Reps on Rep Showcase and was one of the most dominant players in the building. Throughout her Freshman season, her ability to handle the ball, rebound the ball, control the middle were just elite. She showed an ability to play the finness game or the power game. When she played the power game, she was scary-dominant. White averaged 13 points and close to 8 rebounds per game.
Ameera Kone Ameera Kone 6’0″ | PG Boca Raton | 2027 State FL was special last season, and turned a lot of heads as one of the top standouts at the PGH Freshman Expo in Sanford, FL. Kone has great size for a guard and is a three level scorer. She can shoot the three, rip to the midrange, and attack off the dribble. The Freshman was special in a lot of showcases and in the regular season as well. Kone averaged nearly 14 points and close to 5 rebounds from the guard position.

Victoria Valle Victoria Valle 5’7″ | PG Doral Academy | 2027 State FL had a special season and was special in Lakeland as well. The Freshman has all the tools and they were on display. Run the point, shoot the ball, pass it, and score. She kept the pressure on in the State semifinals in Lakeland and was a standout on the floor. Valle knocked down 63 threes and we can stop right right there and prove her elite abilities. She also averaged 4.5 assists. Valle can also put pressure on the ball. She and her teammates were special on the press and on defense. Valle averaged 13.3 points per game.

Iniya Reddicks Iniya Reddicks 5’7″ | SG Deltona | 2027 State FL was special last season and hit the scene running with her performance last year at Run for the Roses. Reddicks played on a 2024 team and posted a 20 point game and a 14 point game. She was also a standout at the Freshman Expo where she showed her skills. She is a wizard in the open court, she can shoot the three, and she can attack off of the dribble, and she can score.
Jadyn Watts Jadyn Watts 5’9″ | SG Sickles | 2027 State FL is a special talent who can really score the ball. Watts has great size, great speed, and a versatile game. Watts can shoot the three, score in the midrange area, and get to the rim. Watts had a great season and really stood out over the Holiday live period at Wesley Chapel. Watts averaged right at 15 points per game for the season and was a season long standout.
Presley Norman Presley Norman 5’10” | SG Bolles | 2027 State FL played well last season as a 9th grader. She was equally impressive in her 8th grade year on Varsity as well. Presley can shoot the three and has a knack for scoring in crunch time. She can also run the point when needed. She was a standout at the Inside Exposure Thanksgiving tournament. Presley has played a very important roll at Bolles in her 8th and 9th grade season.
