There was drama, buzzer beaters, fans, college coaches, familiar and unfamiliar prospects, and exciting moments at the Breslin Center for the girls' state semi-finals and finals games. I was among many scouts and college coaches who were in complete shock about how a 2024 prospect this good was completely off the radar and unsigned. Jenna is a pure scorer with length, ball handling control, finishing moves, athleticism, and vision that makes her an excellent prospect for multiple college levels. She is a knock down 3 point shooter with textbook shooting form and an effective mid-range pull-up game. Jenna scores with acceleration in transition and attacks multiple defenders using crossovers and a controlled finish at the rim. In two games, Jenna scored a jaw-dropping 54 pts, with 9 assists, and 6 steals. She used a spin dribble in the paint to drive and finish strong off two, then converted a floater off two with impressive elevation. Jenessa knocked down multiple 3's and attacked downhill into a jump stop, then scored with a step through. In two games, she dropped an eye popping 41 pts and 9 assists. Jenessa rained 3's like fire in the championship game ripping the nylon with 5 triples. She was a human flyswatter in the paint, blocking 5 shots in the championship game and adding a game high 12 rebounds. Mya has strength, athleticism, and coordination to be an effective forward at the next level. She made an unbelievable two handed overhead pass nearly 3/4 court over the defense to lead a teammate running full speed in stride for a layup. She exploded for a game high 22 pts in the semis shooting a perfect 6 of 6 from the charity stripe. Molly added 14 pts in the championship game with a total of 6 steals in two games. She converted multiple finishes at the rim using both hands and showed the burst needed to split through defenders. Molly knocked down 3's and handled ball pressure with poise. She relentlessly pursued the ball, grabbing 9 boards in the championship game and 3 steals. Abby used a great pivot to finish left handed at the rim and drove baseline to finish a tough angle left handed off the glass. She put up another 10 pts in the semis with another 8 rebound performance.
