Final Rankings Update: 2024 Point Guards

These Seniors have given us great memories over the past four years, and they are that last class who had to deal with the dreadfully inconsistent 2020-2021 COVID season. We finish with 250 players listed in the Class of 2024, including a Top-125, plus a watch list of another 125 prospects. This will be the last time we update rankings for the class, and below I have taken the time to highlight all of the point guard prospects in this class we currently have listed. [player_tooltip player_id='369824' first='Lauren' last='Walsh'], 2024, 5-7 PG, Penn H.S.</font></strong><br>- Lauren had an effective-enough Senior season for the Kingsmen, that she earned a spot on the Indiana All-Star team. For those of you unfamiliar, she would remind you a little of <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='177361' first='Reagan' last='Wilson']</strong> with her infectious energy, vocalness, toughness, and willingness to do whatever is needed to help her team win. She is constantly engaged, she can handle and run offense, shoot &amp; score, plus she will sit down and defend the position.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong><font size="+1">12. [player_tooltip player_id='201869' first='Annika' last='Davis'], 2024, 5-8 PG, Bishop Luers H.S.</font></strong><br>- Annika has nice size for the position, length, and she's a fairly smooth athlete. She does a good job taking care of the basketball, she gets it where it needs to go, plus she can knock down an open jumper when in rhythm. The Knights won the Class 2A state title, and she did a solid job of using her post play, especially in the later rounds of the tournament. I feel like her steadiness is what stands out to me.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong><font size="+1">13. [player_tooltip player_id='201881' first='Madelyn' last='Poe'], 2024, 5-6 PG, Columbus East H.S.</font></strong><br>- Madelyn spent time at Center Grove and Milan, before coming to Columbus East this season and giving them a calming presence on the ball. She has always been a solid to strong guard who plays with great poise and a quiet confidence. She is a nice North/South attacker, but she can also bury shots outside when given space. I really like her ability to change pace and see the floor, plus she gives great effort at both ends.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong><font size="+1">14. [player_tooltip player_id='177338' first='Faith' last='Leedy'], 2024, 5-4 PG, Zionsville Community H.S.</font></strong><br>- Despite her height, Faith is one of the most physical players in the state, regardless of class or position. She is very strong, she defends with her quick feet and her power, and she can control opposing guards at times and make them go where she wants. Offensively, she is a nice distributor who gets the ball to her open scorers, but she has some touch outside and can burn opponents for disrespecting her own game.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong><font size="+1">18. [player_tooltip player_id='773769' first='Ellysa' last='Morris'], 2024, 5-5 PG, Lawrence North H.S.</font></strong><br>- Ellysa was on a deep and talented Wildcat roster this year, but there were specific times throughout the year where she was called upon to step up, and she did. She has nice length, good speed &amp; quickness, and she can be an offensive weapon. She likes to push the ball in transition, she has good vision, but she can also finish or pull-up and make mid-range jumpers. She also acts as a feisty defender who can turn people over.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
