The Spring has arrived, and it's time for us to update the prospect rankings in all four graduating classes currently enrolled in high school. For the Class of 2027, this is a huge time in their careers, as it's the last time they will play a grassroots season in front of college coaches. The overall list (rankings & watch list included) has expanded from 185 total prospects to 200 total prospects. With that said, below is a look at all of the combo guard prospects in the Class of 2027. Below the rankings chart are some quick updates on a handful of uncommitted prospects.

Over the last couple of Summers, Alivia has been a fun watch. She has a versatile and dynamic game for a guard, and she can play either backcourt position equally well. She carried that over to the 2025-2026 season and had a nice all-around year for the Kingsmen. She has good size, some strength, she's a solid North/South athlete, and she possesses good skill. She can handle and pass it like a point guard, but she also has scoring instincts and can get to the rim, pull-up in the mid-range, or knock down an open rhythm jumper when squared to the basket.

There's just something about Ava's game that I think will really draw her elite small college attention this Spring & Summer. She is a long, wiry, smooth shooter with some range as well. Despite that being what she's probably most known for, I have also seen her play a more traditional point guard role at times and think that's a very underrated part of her game. I think all in all, she could be more of a point guard long-term, with the ability to also knock down shots consistently from outside. Again, look for her recruiting to pick up some significant momentum this Spring.

When I saw Carly in-person for the first time last Spring, I was really impressed with her complete game. First, you'll notice her length, plus her speed & quickness, but then you'll realize she's also highly skilled. She can handle the ball, push it in transition, and initiate the offense in the halfcourt. At the same time, she is an effective attacker from the wing, she can knock down rhythm jumpers consistently from the perimeter, and she has a solid mid-range game as well. Additionally, she is very quick and feisty defensively, and she can create a lot of turnovers at that end of the floor.

I've been watching Kate play since between her 8th Grade and Freshman seasons, and this year she was instrumental in helping Bellmont to a Class 3A State Championship. She possesses really nice length, speed & quickness, and she can play either backcourt position equally well. She could probably be the full-time point guard for the Lady Braves, but they have so many good players, that she just fills in wherever needed. She has some touch outside, she plays with a nice motor, and she's an effortful and effective defender. I think she could become a really nice small college prospect.
