Junior [player_tooltip player_id='175345' first='Aveion' last='Walker'] did everything she could yesterday to keep her team in the game. Walker was constantly around the ball and making plays. Aveion finished with 24 points and 14 rebounds in the loss. She did most of her damage slashing to the cup and making plays for herself on second chances.

[player_tooltip player_id='843531' first='Joy' last='Johnson'], [player_tooltip player_id='862299' first='Azauria' last='Wright'], [player_tooltip player_id='670042' first='Amuria' last='Wright'] and [player_tooltip player_id='252503' first='Ry'Naisha' last='Barnes'] will all return next season for the Lady Vikings. Johnson plays her best basketball sitting behind the three-point line. [player_tooltip player_id='862299' first='Azauria' last='Wright'] really looks to mix it up and play strong and tough down low in the paint. She plays with a mean streak at times. [player_tooltip player_id='670042' first='Amuria' last='Wright'] plays out on top and as a 7th grader averaged 7.9 ppg this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='605297' first='Zy'Kiara' last='Waters'] came up big at times today for the Lady Gators. She finished with 10 points in the win. Waters really plays her best basketball slashing to the basket and just playing active on both ends of the court. Waters will look to replace Ford and Page in the years to come for Head Coach Larry Inman's program.
