Two years into their high school careers, several of the top players hold D1 offers as well as all state and all region accolades. Here’s a breakdown of the top ten players in our updated Sophomore rankings.
Ashlinn retains her spot atop the rankings and has proven to be a big time point guard prospect thanks to her super quick first step and a sky high basketball IQ.
One of the better pure scorers in the class (and in all of Western Kentucky), Lowe is a true three level scorer and advanced playmaker. She narrowly missed the 50-40-90 club and also added 9 rebounds per game.
Highlights
Brianna has been putting up big scoring numbers for 3 years now. She averaged 22 points per game this season for CAL and could be closer to 25 points per game in her sophomore year if she increases her three point shooting.
Yeast sacrificed some individual shine for her team’s success this summer. Part of a loaded GRC roster, Teigh was allowed to develop her game more this season and has a chance to move up the list as her career advances.
Speaking of the loaded GRC roster, Chestnut checks in at 5th in our rankings this time around. Anaya’s shooting efficiency dipped this season but she still has the potential to be a star for the next two seasons.
