Next Level 2026 E40 impressed at the Clash during the live period weekend. Haylie Webb Haylie Webb 5’11” | SF Simon Kenton | 2026 State KY did whatever it took to help lead her team to victory. Haylie did the dirty work inside, made a tremendous effort to rebound the ball, and did a excellent job guarding the post and the perimeter.

Aryanna Gulley Aryanna Gulley 5’11” | PF Ashland Paul G. Blazer | 2026 State KY is on a mission in her first travel season with Tri-State Pride She played very well at the Clash last weekend and enjoyed going up against other talented forwards from Indiana, Kentucky, and Pennsylvania. “Ari” was terrific on offense, she scored well with her back to the basket, while displaying excellent footwork and post moves. She was also on target with her perimeter shooting, and made her presence felt on the boards. In the first game of the tournament she had an impactful performance, finishing with 16 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists, was awarded player of the game, and helped her team get the win over Indiana Havoc Elite Silver. Ari followed up that performance with 12 points, 6 rebounds, and 2 assists against Indiana Pride Xtreme.

Ellie Lavey Ellie Lavey 5’11” | PF Paul Laurence Dunbar | 2027 State KY was outstanding during the live period weekend, and showed that she is a complete player with the total package. She rebounded the ball at a high level, knocked down 3-pointers, forced turnovers, and made great passes out of the double team to open shooters. Ellie’s best overall performance was against Wisconsin Academy, she protected the rim with all her might and finished the game with 9 blocks, which is extremely impressive in my opinion. She had 22 total blocks throughout the tournament as well.
The Lexington Crossover 2029 team has created quite a buzz after winning the title at the Battle of the Borders in Louisville, KY, and going undefeated at the PGH Victory Region Kick-Off in Chicago, and the Live! at the Nook last weekend. Center Adrian Smith Adrian Smith 5’9″ | C Woodford County | 2029 KY has been a key contributor for her team so far during the AAU season. She has good size, enjoys being physical in the paint, and is very capable of making shots from the mid-range and from beyond arc. Adrian stepped up in a big way in a highly anticipated matchup against Master P’s Team Miller squad that entered the game with a 3-0 record. Adrian put up a double-double and helped her team get the win 23-17. Lexington Crossover 2029 is starting to gel very well together and are now 11-0 on the AAU season.

Koko Castle Koko Castle 5’8″ | PF Tates Creek | 2028 KY is only entering her freshman year and already has a great feel for the game and a basketball IQ that is well beyond her years. She has excellent footwork on the low block, and makes a good effort to rebound, and defend. Koko also has light feet, a ton of skill for her size, and does good job getting up and down the floor. She will be a key piece for the Lexington Crossover 2028 team as the AAU season goes along.
Highlights
Faith Pickens had a great experience at the Clash. She enjoyed playing in the Select 40 for the first time and going up against high level competition. Faith made a major impact on both ends of the floor. On defense she did a great job blocking shots, but what I like the most is seeing her switch off of screens and showing that she has the lateral quickness and foot speed to guard smaller players. On offense she set very solid screens, and showed that she can pick and pop as well as pick and roll. Faith also pulled down a ton of rebounds, scored well in the post and around the rim. She had her best game against Lady Martin Bros, where she finished with 8 points, 6 rebounds, 4 blocks, 1 assist, and 2 deflections.
Highlights
Evie Hall Evie Hall 5’10” | PF Woodford County | 2027 State KY competed hard on both ends and played with a lot of confidence throughout the Live! at the Nook last weekend. Evie was a matchup nightmare for defenders due to her versatility, and being able to stretch the floor with her outside shooting. Her ability to knock down 3’s made bigs have to come out and guard her on the perimeter, which opened up scoring opportunities for herself and teammates.
