Jordan is all length; long legs, long frame, and her long fingers touched every ball that passed by. A tenacious, versatile player and an absolute joy to watch. The drive and determination, as she continues to learn the game, witnessing her growth in real time. If she’s not already, add Daigle to the lists, the boards and all of the above, she has something special.
Highlights
It seemed like Alayna took the “Warm-Up” tournament quite literally, because she never cooled down. Standing at a full 6’2″ Yates uses her body as sacrifice and shield to get after loose balls. The point-center not only handle the ball coast to coast weaving through defenders but she also reminded her teammates of the plays and locations in real time. Yates’ stock is rising and she is only scraping the heels of her potential.
Blount is up-front and personal about her game. The lefty long range shooter led all scorers on the weekend averaging 17 ppg. With an extremely high motor, and extended length in her limbs, she made several acrobatic finishes appear viral worthy. I am excited to see how she fine tunes the midrange, and polishes the handles, her future is so bright!
Long, “Big Guard,” Warden was the most communicative player in any game on the weekend and the source of spark for her team on many occasions. She used her body more than well, shielding defenders on the drive and elevating on outside shots, she’s not only a college ready frame but college ready action.
