Kelby Stone
Kelby Stone
Kelby Stone is just dominant at this level. The 7th grader could help a lot of varsity teams right now. Her combination of size, agility, motor, and skill set are off the charts. Great touch around the rim. Sprints rim to rim and gets easy buckets in transitions, and defensively always seems to be at the right place at the right time. Had a 21 point, 13 rebound, 2 block performance that was superb.
Ava Ingle
Ava Ingle
Get to to know the name….because Ava Ingle is coming! The 5’10 2029 forward from Jackson TN has all the tools to be incredible. She’s athletic, long, springy, and loves to defend. In her first game with FBC she had 5 blocks. She potentially brings this FBC club up another notch.
Playing with Elevate Elite 3SSB 15U, Mattie Beard Mattie Beard 5’11” | PF Grace Christian | 2027 TN is proving that she’s one of the best young defenders in the state. The kid had 9 rebounds and 4 blocks last night. It’s just obvious that she has a passion for defending….and show me a kid that WANTS to be a great defender, and I’ll likely show you one. Her offensive game is coming along, and the people at Grace must be excited.
Had 23 points against a loaded AL Southern Starz team full of D1 kids. What’s that say about Bystry? She continues to put up big time number vs big time competition. Same can be same about Kendall Anne Murphy–she dropped 15. Both of the wings continue to prove themselves.
Did somebody at Showtime make Skylar Walden Skylar Walden 5’8″ | PG The Kings Academy | 2027 TN angry? Because she’s been on a tear this tourney!!
20 points/2 assists
16 points/3 assists/3 blocks/2 steals/4 rebound
15 points/2 rebounds/3 steals/4 blocks
She’s led her teams in scoring every game, and averaging 17 points at Showtime is no joke. Looking forward to seeing how this group responds in bracket play.
Highlights
Saylor Clay Saylor Clay 5’7″ | PG Washburn | 2025 State TN has been really consistent this tourney. She knows what she does well..and she’s great in her role. She’s one of the best 3 point shooters in the state and she’s proved it this weekend. I’m always looking for the kids that WANT to defend and rebound though, because if you want to play in college, that’s what college coaches want—kids that simply “want to” defend. She’s played great defense and rebounded the ball really well (7 rebounds one game).
Highlights
This kid is simply impressive. Does all the little things you want from your PG, and some. Extremely nice handles, and doesn’t allow the defense to control the pace. Knows how and when to change speeds and directions to get to her spots. Really shifty with the ball in her hands. Had a nice 12 point, 4 assists, 4 rebound game on Saturday night.
