<p>The Sunshine Showdown kicks off this weekend and will feature some of the top shooting guards in the State. These players are now the top recruits on the college coach's radar. The time has arrived for these 2025 guards. Most will be at this week's Sunshine Showdown. In this article we look at some of the top 2025 guards who are poised to start the travel season off with a bang.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='243897' first='Jim'Myah' last='Branton'] is poised for a special AAU season. The guard averaged over 14 points per game and 5.7 rebounds per game this past season and led her team to the Final 4 in Lakeland. Branton can score in a variety of ways and score off the bounce. </p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='346820' first='Abby' last='Knauff'] is fresh off of a special Junior season where she continued to showcase her all-around game, which included a 15.1 point per game average and 74 threes for the season. Knauff showed athleticism and the ability to score from all three levels. Knauff is also a good defensive player and can lock down on the perimeter as well as cover guards and small forwards </p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='248677' first='Anilys' last='Rolon'] was last seen in Lakeland winning another State Championship at Dr Phillips. Rolon was a standout at the State Championship, setting the stage with quality threes from the corner in the State Finals. Rolon knocked down 66 threes for the season and she is poised to let it fly at the Sunshine Showdown.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='419934' first='Abby' last='Price'] continues to improve her game. She has always been able to shoot the rock and especially the three-point shot. Price knocked down 40 threes for the season and showcased more than the three-point shot. Price can handle the ball and pass the ball as well. The Junior guard averaged 9 points per game and 4.8 rebounds per game.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='664264' first='Zion' last='McRae'] is one of the top scorers in the State. She averaged 23.1 points per game and 532 points for the season. Zion can score in a multitude of ways and can get downhill and to the basket. She was a standout at the Prep Girl Expo and continued that play throughout the season. McRae is a good player and strong on both sides of the ball</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='249437' first='Olivia' last='Staples'] is one of the top shooters in the State of Florida. She can shoot the ball and shoot the three like not many can. Staples has an all-around game and does a good job at defending the opposing guards.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='663685' first='Dayla' last='Christopher'] will be another guard to keep an eye on at the Sunshine Showdown. This past season, Christopher averaged 12.5 points per game and an incredible 8.9 rebounds per game. Christopher knocked down 12 threes for the season.</p>

<p>Many of the guards below will be in the building at the Sunshine Showdown. The guards will be doing what they do best and that's shooting and scoring the ball.</p>
