Based on this viewing, Seaba is an unique prospect with the ability to play around the rim. While also being comfortable bringing the ball up the floor, initiating the offense and shining as a passer. Her passing in transition was particularly good. As she would push off defensive boards and turnovers, then rifle ahead on the money passes to teammates for scoring opportunities. Around the rim, she finished with both hands on drives and putbacks. To force overtime in this contest, Seaba went coast to coast, drawing the foul. Then draining both free throws.

A complete point guard, Beller was a great facilitator who kept the ball moving in transition and in the halfcourt. She played with her head up, always looking to create opportunities for her teammates. The unselfishness and pace she plays with was also apparent on the defensive end with the willingness to defend and fight for loose balls. Her scoring came in spurts, occasionally hitting catch and shoot threes to space the floor. And to close out the game she had a couple good takes to the rim.

The long armed Bowling is an active defender, who did a lot of her damage around the rim. She understands verticality principles, keeping her hands high. So even when not blocking shots, she’s impacting plays around the rim. She had two different reps when stepping out onto the perimeter, one time she overplayed a passing lane and was burned for an easy score. While another had her successfully read the passing lane and deflect a pass. If the second example becomes a regular trend, then Bowling could have good upside as a versatile defensive prospect.

Wilson started the game quietly, peppering in the occasional three from distance. She then proceeded to close the game loudly in the victory for her squad. It started with her getting more active off the dribble, then finished with a flurry when she crashed the offensive glass for a putback attempt where she was fouled. After draining both free throws, it was an one point game. Shortly after that it was Wilson who made a steal and went coast to coast for the go ahead score with about 15 seconds left. A sniper with the competitiveness to swing games is a good intro to the rising sophomore’s game.

Jordan is a weapon from deep, capable of hitting off the dribble or as a spot up threat. Her good quickness and smooth motions allow her to really do damage as an off the dribble shooter. Or even just using a jab step to create space and then drain the open three. Off the bounce, she most often looked to drive as a creator, including going baseline and making a tight window pass to a teammate. Shooting, moments of creation and willingness to defend is a great combination for the Texas standout.

A fluid and strong athlete, the rising sophomore made her mark on the defensive end by racking up steals and blocks. In the second half she was especially aggressive, using her athletic advantage to live in the passing lanes and creating transition opportunities. As a finisher there were flashes of promises, with good elevation on some of her scores. But she will need to continue to refine her offensive game to match her defensive upside.
