You can talk to her coach, & you can talk to people in the state of Kentucky about the ’27 class and you will hear Mabe’s name mentioned at the top! She is one of the most versatile athletes that you are going to find in any age group! She has great size and physical strength! Mabe also knows how to use her physicality on the court too! I love how she finishes strong through contact! She is extremely efficient & she is extremely knowledgeable! A good two way player! Skeeter makes the correct reads out of the paint. She can step out and knock down the long ball too. Skeeter is an exceptional athlete and she is going to be a name known all throughout the basketball world!
When I combed through film on Messer, I could instantly tell that she was a top athlete. She is crafty at the rim with some of the nicest and smoothest moves that you will see! She has amazing length and she knows exactly how and when to use it to her advantage. Yes, her coach also stated that she knows how to take advantage of mismatches. She has remarkable playmaking abilities! This one is a complete package that has a game that translates to the next level. Remember, she is only a freshman!
Highlights
I watched Dunlap numerous times throughout her freshman high school season. One thing I love most about Mya’s game is her composure and how she stays poised! Dunlap doesn’t rush anything and she knows how to play to her strengths! Mya is one that can get out and run. She attacks downhill good and knows how to get to the rim. She is another player on this WV Thunder Select team with great size and length. She’s also a basketball savvy athlete that you want to keep your eyes on!
Kyleigh Chestnut

Chestnut is a ’28 playing up! Trust me, you will not think that she is a ’28 when you see her skill level! She is a great on ball defender that is definitely going to make you work for a bucket! She is a highly skilled athlete that will stand out on any stage that she performs on! She’s a quick guard with a good mid-range game! Kyleigh is going to be another name that takes off fast!
Taylor is a guard that knows exactly how to turn defense to offense. Her coach stated that she is an athlete that can defend anyone and she has the ability to score quickly. I agree that this one can score in bunches and in different ways! One thing I noticed about Taylor is how she does all of the little things that you will not see on a stat sheet too! She’s a guard that you want on your team!
Highlights
I’ve touched base on Workman numerous times this season. I don’t call many athletes a swiss army knife, but in my opinion, Ava is exactly that! Workman can play numerous roles. She isn’t reactive on defense! She has a great understanding of having the ability to move as the ball is moving! Workman has so many strong qualities. She makes great decisions on the court and that stems from her high IQ! She truly has tremendous upside!
