15 16U teams composed of players from Kansas, Missouri, Louisiana, Missouri and Oklahoma hit the four courts of Solid Rock gymnasium in Edmund, Oklahoma, for the Battle In The Big Friendly. Starting with a game Friday night and continuing through Sunday afternoon the teams played five games. It was enjoyable to watch as players showed improving play, strong effort, and plenty of stamina. Over time several players sifted to the top as standouts and many of them made various all-tournament teams. Below is the roster of the Battle In The Big Friendly 16U second team. It follows on the heals of the previously released 16U first team.

Independence and Triumph Select 2026 Ja'ah Bryant-Smith. She has a terrific build with great base as well as the strength to overpower other players on both ends. She works well in the half court and on the glass but what was especially difficult for opponents was handling her motor, solid speed and ability to catch and finish on the fly. Want to learn more? Other media sites errantly show her as 'Jaah.'

Verona and Missouri Flight 2026 Jaicee Carrasquillo. Photo: Robert Kelly, Prep Girls Hoops

Jaicee Carrasquillo, 5'10", PG, Verona (MO), Missouri Flight 2026, 2026 - The Flight point guard brings a quality presence to the floor on both ends. She has the size to defend several positions, actively looks to box out on both ends, hustles and is disruptive defensively with her athleticism. Her athleticism and quickness show well with her ball skills. Carrasquillo has good vision in the half court and makes the quick one-handed passes to on-the-move teammates to get buckets. She has a solid base, slashing and weaving ability and has the length to get shots off over defenders on the perimeter and in traffic.

St. Marys Colgan and MO Legacy 2026 [player_tooltip player_id='881001' first='Jakayla' last='Davis']. The average built and quick point guard has strong handles in the half court, makes smooth and quality down-the-floor and entry passes, and shows speed on finishes.

Richland and SWMO Storm 2027 Mallory Ross. Photo: Robert Kelly, Prep Girls Hoops

Mallory Ross, 5'6", PG, Richland (MO), SWMO Storm 2026, 2027 - I could not help but notice how Ross's head is always on a swivel leading transition plays to take advantage of her floor vision and scoring ability. With good length for her size, quickness to get into the lane and half court creating abilities the point guard consistently put pressure on defenses.

Booker T. Photo: Robert Kelly Prep Girls Hoops

Harmony Washington, 5'5", PG, Booker T. Washington (OK), iD3NTITY Elite 2026, 2026 - It took some time for Washington to find a groove but she just got better game over game. The fast and very quick point guard handles in transition at speed, shows athleticism throughout her game and has stickiness defensively. A streaky and often money perimeter shooter she was also strong not running the show. Washington has serious potential with all the tools she has to develop into a top tier point guard. Look for her to sharpen decision making to deliver the quick, easy pass. When defending with energy Washington was easily among the strongest on-ball defenders at the event.
