Oklahoma’s top ranked player brings a rare mentality to the court. Even on a team deep with athletic and capable defenders, she still wants to take on top defensive assignments. In a recent win over a fellow top 4A teams, she went after and excelled in her defense on one of the top juniors in Oklahoma. She’s strong and quick when covering on the ball, knowing her to defend physically without fouling by beating opponents to spots. Is one of the most tenacious rebounders in the state, cleaning up on both ends. Stewart has played in the Class 4A title the last three years, finally breaking through last year for the title. Expect her to leave it all on the court in the quest to go back to back.

Quieter scoring game by Stewart’s lofty standards. But she brought the fire on defense. Often covered Locust Grove’s top player in an one on one match up. Her combination of strength and lateral movement meant she consistently beat the opposing ballhandler to spots all over the court. And was often physical without fouling. The Nebraska signee has always had a do whatever it takes mentality on the court, and it was no different as she made an impact that went beyond the box score.

Surprise, surprise, one of the state’s best players came away from MVP honors. When Lincoln Christian made their move to pull away in the fourth quarter of the title game, it was Stewart who help burry the Rams. Sprinted the floor for one bucket to build her momentum. Then left a Rams defender guessing with a spin move on a drive. Following it up by swishing a triple for good measure and forcing a timeout. She finished with 22 points. While nearly averaging a double double for the tournament with 14.3 points, 9.3 rebounds, and 2 steals a game. Special player, who added more to her impressive list of high school accomplishments.

The Nebraska commit plays with her hair on fire. And that’s obvious in her powerful and tough drives to the rim. Has a fantastic combination of grit and skill. Went viral this summer for a great tear drop floater game winning shot for AAU powerhouse CyFair. A great example of her she blends her power with skillful finishing. But what makes her even more dangerous off the bounce, her ever improving vision and feel to drop dimes after drawing a crowd.

Stewart is actually at the point in her recruitment where instead of collecting new offers, she’s focusing on narrowing her options. She recently reached her top 5 schools. Including 3 in-state programs, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and Tulsa. Rounding out the top 5 are Arizona and Nebraska. The tough minded guard is also keeping her skills sharp, by playing with defending Nike Girls EYBL Champs, CyFair. They’re 10-0 in Nike play this spring, and Stewart has been a consistent scoring option.

Lincoln Christian is looking to get over the hump in 4A, and for 8 minutes they were on upset watch. Losing 17-10. But Stewart and company dialed in defensively. Only allowing 21 points the rest of the contest. Including keeping Madill to only 30 total points for much of the fourth quarter. Offensively, Stewart was responsible for 15 points. Which led the Lady Bulldogs in scoring. More big moments await and expect the gamer guard to produce under the bright lights.

In a big time Class 4A clash between Lincoln Christian and Newcastle, it didn’t take long for Stewart to be the first on the floor to win a loose ball. Because that’s simply the intensity and effort she brings every second on the court. Along with excelling in doing the little things, Stewart was strong and confident in getting downhill against a tall Newcastle squad. There was transition pushes made possible by the breakneck pace she sat for Lincoln, while also living in the paint on halfcourt drives. Where she impressively was dropping dimes to open teammates at the rim, or kicking out to open shooters. The do it all guard staked a strong claim to being the best 2026 prospect in Oklahoma.
