<p>In this article we take a look at some of the players in the 16U Division. Some we have seen this travel season and some we have not had an opportunity to cover. In this article, we preview a few of the talented Sophomores who will be in the building at the Candace Dupree Invitational. </p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='248673' first='Aubrey' last='Satterfield'] is a young guard we're looking to see more of this summer. She has good court vision and loves to get her teammates involved. Satterfield has good handles and a high basket IQ. She can also shoot the jumper from behind the arc.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='344797' first='Ava' last='Albanese'] is a player we are looking forward to seeing at the CDI. Albanese put on a defensive and transition clinic at Southern jams and looking forward to seeing the young forward on he court. Albanese is physically tough. She does not mind diving on the floor for loose balls or falling on the floor after taking a charge or receiving a hard foul. Albanese can shoot the ball as well. She can shoot from behind the arc and in the midrange area. She is very good in transition and knows how to finish. </p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='243907' first='Ashley' last='Martinez'] is a young player to be on the look out for at the Candace Dupree Invitational. Martinez is one of the top young shooters in the 2026 class. As Freshman she surpassed the 1000 point milestone and as a Sophomore she was again money from behind the arc.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='514601' first='Talia' last='Busser'] is a young player we are looking to see more of this tournament. The young Busser can shoot the rock and when she gets on a roll she is hard to stop. Busser played well this past season and is looking forward to her Junior season. So are we!</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='892014' first='Kelsey' last='Sharpe'] had a great season at Sickles and she is “must see” player this upcoming weekend. Sharpe is fast and athletic and can shoot the ball from all three levels of the floor. This past season she made impressions on both ends of the floor and her numbers were impressive: 14.6 points, 6 assists, and 7 steals per game. </p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='656074' first='Ar'Nayshia' last='Griffin'] is a young forward who we are looking forward to seeing at the Candace Dupree Invitational. Griffin can play multiple positions on the floor. She can play on the block, on the wing, and can defend both positions as well. Griffin is a versatile player , capable of playing 4 to 5 positions on the court. She is athletic and dangerous in the paint and in transition. </p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='514589' first='Senaia' last='Asanya'] is a young forward who we are looking to see at the CDI this upcoming weekend. The young forward is stong on the inside and has the ability to step out and shoot the midrange jumper. Asanya rebounds well and has a lot of versatility. Asanya has always been impressive with a high basketball IQ. She also does a very good job communicating and leading her teammates on the court. </p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='514527' first='Arianna' last='Walker'] played well the last time she suited up at Wesley Chapel. The young guard was dynamic, especially on the defensive end and in transition. Walker plays with tenacity, athleticism, and a lot of speed when on the courts. Walker can shoot the midrange jumper and loves getting to the rim.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='400787' first='Liliana' last='Rosario'] (cover) is a young forward we're looking to see this weekend at the CDI. Rosario was a standout this past season and played well at the PGH Expo last season. She has soft hands, good footwork, and a desire to be great in the paint. She does a good job of scoring on the block and holding it down on the boards. This past high school season, the Sophomore averaged nearly 7 rebounds and 7 points per game. She provides a strong inside presence which opens up the floor up for her shooters.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='495953' first='Jiyah' last='Hamilton'] is another 2025 point guard who we are looking to see at the Candace Dupree Invitational. Hamilton is a very selfless player who loves to dish it In transition, but can finish when she has to. She also can shoot the jumper from multiple levels on the court, including from behind the three point line. </p>
