<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Some of Western Oklahoma's best and brightest were on hand for a one-day event presented by Evolve. Saw the best back and forth game I've seen this summer as [program_tooltip program_id='712936' first='Team' last='Oklahoma'] won a 3 point game over the Angels of Blackwell. It is always great to see those type of games where fouling, timeouts, and strategies come in to play, as those girls are just getting more and more reps of those situations for later. Very quick release, and doesn't need much room at all to get her shot off. Very quick motion shot. Throws good diagonal passes. Has a knack for being in the right place at the right time on rebounds. Works hard to get buckets, scoring from all three levels. Has a nice looking shot, and shoot pick up several free points a game from the line just with how she plays offense. Sophomore Kate Mannering was impressive as well, but Channing Wright was the standout for the Thomas squad. A talented floor general, had a tremendous sequence where she hit a deep three and followed it with an immediate steal and layup.
