Memorial Day Shootout: Border State Ballers

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Memorial Day Shootout at Jackson College on May 25th-26th hosted many of Michigan's top travel programs, but there were plenty of outstanding prospects from Ohio and Indiana as well. She scored full speed on a fake pass euro-step left finish. Madison attacks hard downhill with excellent control to finish and knocked down outside shots. She shoots and fires off an accurate 3-point shot with a quick release from a balanced platform. Kaylee buried multiple 3's from up top and earned the label of "net ripper" in my notes. Her on-ball defense was what set her above the other CG prospects as she quickly stepped laterally to cut off ball handlers and turned steals into transition layups. Danica climbed the ladder to block a shot. She blew by defenders and finished with impressive elevation in the paint and worked for offensive boards. Danica tossed accurate one-hand passes to teammates and used a variety of dribble moves to create space. She drove with a burst through defenders and finished her layup-and-one. Her closeouts on perimeter shooters are fast and she can cause misses without fouling. She uses her length, quickness, and a variety of ball-handling moves to make a positive impact for her team. She used a quick behind-the-back dribble to split through defenders, blocked shots, and finished off two inside. Sakiya set herself apart with her ability to guard multiple positions and defend without fouling.
