Throughout the weekend I kept a notebook full of small notes that I took for each athlete, as I watched them compete live and in-person. In this article I highlight five prospects and go over the notes that I had written down about each athlete, as I watched them compete on the hardwood. These notes are just a more simple or brief way of explaining what I was seeing in that moment.

#33 - [player_tooltip player_id='352142' first='Bella' last='Gruber'] - 2025 - 5'11 - PF - [program_tooltip program_id='834910' first='Example' last='Sports'] 2025 (IL)

"Gruber is a prospect that commits for effort when she is competing. She does everything she attempts fundamentally well and she isn't afraid to lay her body on the line for the game of the team/program. This past few days she has been rebounding at an efficient rate, scoring when the opportunity presents itself in the half court, and she is playing smart basketball. She has better than average size that she knows how to use against weaker opponents and she isn't someone that turns over the ball ever possession."

#19 - Lailah Boyd - 2028 - 6'0 - F/CG - [program_tooltip program_id='712484' first='Della' last='Lamb'] 2028 3SSB (MO)

"A prospect out of the 2028 Class that has a fantastic mixture of size and skill. Boyd stands at around 6'0 already and she can either play the Post for her team or she can move out to the perimeter to compete from the outside-in. Her skill level needs to catch up to her body size but in general, she is going to be someone that collegiate recruiters love at the end of the day if she works on the correct things moving into the future."

#33 - [player_tooltip player_id='644115' first='Landrie' last='Callahan'] - 2026 - 6'2 - SF - Midwest Meanstreets 17U EYBL (IL)

"Smart player with great size at 6'2. Can move extremely well with her mixture of size and athletic ability. This is someone that is very versatile. She can screen the ball and roll or she can screen and pop out to the midrange for a jumper. She may be playing up on this team but if I didn't tell you that, you'd never know by her production."

#24 - [player_tooltip player_id='846543' first='Madison' last='Austin'] - 2025 - 6'3 - PF - [program_tooltip program_id='834910' first='Example' last='Sports'] 2025 GUAA (IL)

"A tall prospect with a big game. Austin brings a lot of possibilities to the floor. She stands at 6'3, her movements are quick and steady, she is a three level scorer when the ball is rotated to her, and she is very active on the boards. Austin is receiving a lot of love from colleges right now. Over the next three to six months, she is going to continue to blow up before her last high school season gets underway this Winter."

#10 - [player_tooltip player_id='514035' first='Danyella' last='Mporokoso'] - 2026 - X - PG - Midwest Meanstretts 17U EYBL (IL)

"A great player to have on your team when you are under pressure or facing off against a press in the full court. Mporokoso can handle her team in the control department, she can dribble against almost every defense, she can control the tempo of the game that is being played, and she has great vision in the open court. This would be someone that you can trust with the basketball to run your team as another coach on the floor, even if you aren't consistently yelling out commands as the head coach.
