Reflections on the Live at LakePoint (Part 2)

Simply put, Roby always goes to work. She plays extremely tough on both sides of the court. She never takes one single play off. If she makes a mistake, she will get it back for her team. She's the athlete that never complains and does what is needed! An excellent defender! She is adding more to her overall game every time that she steps on a court! If Charlie keeps going to work, she is going to be one heck of a basketball player at the next level! One of my favorite plays by Shelby wasn't the numerous 3 balls that she made with range, it wasn't the attacks downhill either, or finishing at the rim. She's great at doing all of those things! My favorite play was her sliding her feet and taking a strong charge against the Vipers! Higgins continues to shoot at a high percentage! She's a versatile athlete that you can plug in different positions. If you do not have Shelby's name down on your radar, you need it. We can look at the class of '27 in WV. We can look at the class of '27 in TN. Pryor's name will be listed with the best of them! Jeriyah is a true floor general! She continues to separate herself from the pack. The freshman's assist to turnover ratio is remarkable. She has the ability to control the tempo of any game. She frustrated opponents all weekend long with her tough on ball defense. Stein said it best, u0022Great players are defensive stoppers. They stop their man and help teammates. They do the things offensive players HATE!u0022 Pryor created havoc all weekend and she did exactly what opponents hate! She has a toughness that isn't taught.u0022 This still remains true! Win or lose, she is going to battle, and that is the athlete that I want on my team! She gets down the floor fast. I'm not sure if that is what set the emergency alarms off during the game, but she brought all of the smoke! She finished in double figure scoring averaging 12 points a game. She hauled in a slew of rebounds. She attacked the rim over and over again drawing tough fouls. In my opinion, Saylor and Team Unlimited faced their toughest defensive matchup against GDT.  They pulled out a win with their resilience and Saylor's big 3 to put her team up 1 with just a little over a minute remaining! With 12.6 seconds left in that same game, she goes to the line and makes both free throws! Nothing about Gallion's game is small. She's a high IQ kid that understands how to use her body as a shield to score on taller opponents. She's a great ball handler that is strong with either hand! She is active on defense and she has an extremely high motor! Ava has a beautiful outside shot. She scored numerous 3's over the weekend. Ava has a shot that always looks like it is going in! She doesn't need much space to pull the trigger either! Johnson is no stranger to playing up. She plays on her high school varsity team u0026amp; she continues to stand out amongst her peers and kid's older! When I first watched this young athlete play, I could tell that she was different. She was different this weekend too! She has elite court vision to be so young! I wasn't shocked when I read her stat lines either. She averaged 14 points per game, 4 steals, 4 assists, and 3 rebounds. She was hitting the mid-range, she was drilling 3's, and she was getting to the rim. She excels in the pick u0026amp; roll. She knows how to move to get herself open, and she sets hard screens to get her teammates open! Allie is a talented forward with the ability to shoot from long range. She has great size and does a good job defending the paint. She finishes consistently around the rim, and provides her team with extra possessions! She can also step out and knock down the 15 footer consistently. There is a lot to love about this post player's game! I won't be surprised if her phone starts ringing more!
