St. Frances' defense in the first half against Elizabeth Seton was suffocating. Amora Alston was a big reason why. Her full-court defensive pressure on the ball handler was tremendous, and she forced easy turnovers that led to easy points. She also hit a few threes, one being a dagger, which iced the game for St. Frances. She finished with 14 points and 5 steals.

Kiersten Rurka had an efficient game in Mt. Carmel's comfortable win over Holy Cross. Kiersten got her offense going early, and Mt. Carmel never looked back. She knocked down four threes and led all scorers with 16.

Even in a loss Jniya Weaver put on an offensive show against Bishop Ireton. She was efficient and showed her vast array of moves. She got to the basket effectively and had some great finishes. She knocked down 2 threes and got to the line. Jniya had 23 points and 7 rebounds.

Logyn Greer is one of my favorite prospects at this event. She has a fantastic jump shot and is a smooth scorer at 6'3". She has defensive versatility as well being able to guard 1-5. She showed these things against Shabach Christian, finishing with 15 points and seven rebounds in a close loss. She performed even better in Friends Central's second game. She scored 20 points on ten shots and showed off her elite shot. She collected three blocks as well.

At Dmvlive last year, Ivanna Wilson-Manyacka dominated the competition before even entering high school, and I think that was a little bit of a breakout for her. She is physically dominant with her athleticism and height, and she is also very skilled. She was great against Catholic in what was a terrific game. She did great work on the glass and knocked a few jump shots down. She finished with 23 points and 12 rebounds.

Adora Nwude had a nice game for Bullis. Adora is great at going downhill, and her speed makes it challenging to stop in transition. She had a pretty good game, not turning the ball over, and had some nice finishes. Adora finished with 12 points.

Meghan Yarnavich battled with [player_tooltip player_id='302566' first='Jemma' last='Eleby'] throughout the game. She was a monster on the offensive glass and did great work out of the post. She had a dagger and one that capped off her great game. I love how physical Meghan is; she doesn't shy away from any contact. When she gets to her left hand, it's usually game over. She finished with 22 points and 9 rebounds.

[player_tooltip player_id='383625' first='VaNyah' last='Otey'] put on a shooting clinic for TPLS Christian in their rout over St. Andrews. She knocked down 5 threes and equaled St. Andrews's total by herself with 23. VaNyah is a natural shooter, and every shot looks like it's going in
