Bean's raw athleticism is immeasurable. She makes the game look easy as she catches the ball on the low block, squares to the basket and drives right at an opponent to get to the rack, elevate and finish. Her strong hands allow her to catch low accuracy passes. Great leaping abilities allow her to clean up around the rim. Bean definitely made a PGH Top Ten play of the week when she practically jumped over one opponent to launch a layup out of bounds. Bean is a 2024 that I know will enhance anyone's program this Fall.

This young lady possess an unassuming strength to her game and a knack for finding the ball. Phillips can do a little bit of everything, and this will always increase an individual's playing time. She hit timely three's for her team, and her sweet spot seems to be in the corners. Once her shot has been discovered, she'll blow by her man on the perimeter to pull up and knock down the mid range shot. I was most impressed by her display of sacrificing her body. She was diving on the floor for loose balls, falling out of bounds, or fighting for the ball in very aggressive jump ball tie ups. On this squad she could be deemed a glue player, but on any roster "KP" makes a strong difference when she is on the floor.

There is no way her Athletic Elite team goes 5-0 and wins the tournament championship without Ari! She is very efficient for her size as she plays inside and out. Understanding how to use her size against opponents, she will back her man down in the paint and shoot the turnaround jumper. The championship game was tight the entire time, and Gregory's team won in the final seconds. With her team down most of the first half, Gregory took her game to another level in the second half as I watched her knock down the corner three ball and then sprint down court to intercept a pass and lead the break coming back down. On a very team oriented squad that played unselfish basketball, Gregory stood out for as a key contributor with a high basketball IQ.

Standing 6'1 with a solid frame, of course Gordon draws multiple defenders. But she has become accustomed to being doubled, so she has an array of tools to counter the defense. She uses her strength to seal defenders, and once she receives the ball on the low block she either pivots for an up and under or backs down opponents for an easy layup. She is a traditional back to the basket post player that are uncommon in the modern world of basketball today. Not to mention, she is a lefty!

Double-double machine! Yet only a rising junior, I believes Yates can increase her scoring production by even more. She has the size and strength to dominate in the lane when she hits the "on" button. In multiple close tournament games, Yates was able to slow the game down by LIVING at the free throw line because teams strategy became to swipe at her as they could not keep Yates off the glass. Interior damage! And still much potential to tap into.
