BMAZE ELITE Black UA17 Rise went head to head with the #1 team in the country FBC United Family and battled with them the entire contest. FBC jumped out 23-6 but we calmed down and cut the deficit to 30-23 at halftime. FBC size showed in the second half and we played without our starting PG [player_tooltip player_id='889914' first='Malia' last='Wilcox'] (2x State Champ from Bradley Central) clipping us to 7 players all weekend. Lost the game final score 59-42 but over 60 college coaches were in attendance and each girl received calls from colleges. Trinity Chisom and Gabbi Kynard and Nay Young played very well.

BMAZE ELITE UA16 Rise: Played FBC United Family, the top team in GUAA, and it was a good 1st half (the score was 30-23 at the half) In the second half we lost starting PG and freshman standout [player_tooltip player_id='821993' first='Tayla' last='Stovall'] to a dislocated elbow, and the team lost its mojo. While we lost the game 58-32, over 20 college D1 were in attendance , and that's our main importance. We also lost to top WV Thunder GUAA team 57-30, but were only down 5 at halftime. While we eventually ran out of gas, over 20 college coaches were in attendance and team competed very well this weekend vs some of the top teams in the country.

[player_tooltip player_id='514127' first='Kim' last='Cooper'], Ice Mitchell, Kora Johnson had good games.
