Schools across the state travel near and far to compete in play days to see what they have and to size themselves up a bit. Now, don't jump to conclusions just yet as these games don't count. However, these games do serve as a purpose and an outlook on what to expect down the road. A coach can get a good measurement on what their team needs to work on. Either way, everyone is 0-0 in the standings and girls can just compete.

Lebanon High hosted schools from across the state, check out some girls who have been filling it up.

Addy Osborne (5'8/FR/SG/Mt. Juliet)- The rising freshman has stepped up in a big role for the program. She's been getting paint touches, letting it fly from the arc, and handling the ball against pressure. She can score it from all 3 levels, but can also distribute the rock at a moment's notice. Has a high basketball IQ and is a tough competitor. She is going to be something special and the Lady Bears are getting a superb ball player that will help be a foundational piece for years to come.

[player_tooltip player_id='513237' first='Ava' last='Jarrett'] (5'7/Jr./G/ Lipscomb Academy)- She's back and she's playing at such a high level. The kid is filling it up at a consistent clip and she is having fun doing so. The multi-level scoring threat is knocking it down from the arc, getting to the rim, diming up teammates. Ava is a go-getter and her energy and effort has infused the LA program. Having her out there gives the team another scoring threat and someone who can lock up on D. Look for her to carry this momentum into the school season.

[player_tooltip player_id='899857' first='Ilianis' last='Rodriguez'] (5'7/Jr./G/ Cleveland)- Let me tell you, this girl has taken the next steps towards being a big time ball player and her confidence is riding high. Had a great postseason run and she is picking up where she left off. She can score the rock, an unselfish player who can feed her teammates for easy opportunities, will lock up on the defensive end, and just possesses a high basketball IQ and understands pace and space. A heady ball player that knows how to time up her cuts when she is playing off ball. She brings the energy every time she steps on the floor. A solid kid who will continue to grow and be something special for the Lady Raiders program.

Kamore Moore (5'5/Fr./G/ Chattanooga Christian)- Coming off a stellar MVP season as an 8th grader, she is actually now a high school student. She has been giving teams fits this past year and she has picked up right where she left off. This kid is an absolute “dawg” and is tough on both ends of the floor. A scoring threat who finds the bottom of the net at a consistent clip, she can let it fly from deep, or utilize her speed and quickness to get to the rim. A tough competitor who strikes fear in opponents every time she steps onto the floor. Doesn't let her size deter what she can do, she's going to find a way to get buckets. MoMo bucketz is her twitter name because that's her M.O. Special talent who will continue to do big things.

[player_tooltip player_id='821650' first='Alexis' last='Hammock'] (5'7/So./PG/ Grace Christian-Knoxville)- Nice. That's the one word that comes to mind when thinking of this young lady. A super tough kid who has a knack for being around the ball. She is tough on the defensive end, keeping girls in front and getting steals as well as deflections. On the offensive end, she can facilitate, drain 3s, and get to the rim with ease. She sees the floor well, handles the rock under pressure, and is just a heady floor general that plays with a lot of heart and energy. An exciting prospect who will continue to grow and eclipse great heights along the way.
