Team Camp Review: Knox Catholic Conversation w/ Coach Mains

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>There is no better program in the state than Knox Catholic, and in my opinion, no better coach than Coach Mains. The guy just "gets it." All of it. He coaches his kids hard and yet they seem to love him back even harder. He demands the best, and his girls want to give it.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>He can "x's and o's" with the best of them. He has an old school mentality of toughness yet a modern approach of care and empathy. AND....for the sake of what I do...he leans into promoting his kids on social media. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Let's face it...if your a high level head coach in 2024 you better embrace social media or your eventually going to get passed up. Social media really doesn't matter.....but yet, it really does matter. She is shooting the cover off the ball and will do all the things that make you win. Solid defender and rebounder. Built up a lot of confidence with the way she closed the year. Sydney is a gifted offensive player that has great length on the wing. She played well in a bunch of important games off the bench last year. Her efforts in region championship led the Irish to very important seeding. Excited to see her finish out her last year putting everything on the line. She will add a big punch when she gets back. 2nd leading scorer her freshman year has had some recent injuries that is allowing to recover.
