I had the privilege of covering the 2026 players this weekend at the Finals, here are some I saw Saturday afternoon.

[player_tooltip player_id='486530' first='Alyx' last='Kendall'] - Indiana Showcase 2026 Black

Alyx showcased a good skillset this afternoon and is a player with a good future ahead of her with continued work. She has a good drop step at the rim, can get her defender in position to score at the rim. Good footwork. Fundamentally sound player. Moves without the ball and gets into position to be effective.

[player_tooltip player_id='886756' first='Elizabeth' last='Alyn Grimes'] - Kentuckiana Ewing

This young lady can knock down the 3 and if you leave her open she will hurt you. She hit at least 2 of them in the first 10 minutes of her game I saw on Saturday. Can also put the ball on the floor and push downhill. A smooth and steady player! One on the rise and she is with a good program that will make her better.

[player_tooltip player_id='747689' first='Kaylee' last='McElroy']- Kentuckiana Wathen

She is a very scrappy guard who is all over the floor. Defensively she moves her feet well. She's a good on-ball defender because she is so active. Excellent at deflections. A good perimeter shot, can knock things down from behind the arc.

[player_tooltip player_id='493159' first='Jaida' last='Allen'] - Kentuckiana Ewing

Jaida is a player who can play multiple spots, can handle the ball to run the show, or move over and make plays away from the ball. She does a good job creating space against her opponent, slick handles and very athletic and agile. Great court vision and can push north-south.

[player_tooltip player_id='743655' first='Calia' last='Jones'] - Kentuckiana Wathen

She is able to put the ball on the floor and get downhill to the rim. Excellent floor leader with good court vision in high basketball IQ. She gets everyone involved. She's quick to react to the game, she also does a nice job with the pick-and-pop.

[player_tooltip player_id='899630' first='Leah' last='Howard'] - [program_tooltip program_id='712782' first='Richmond' last='Heat'] 2026

Leah does a nice job getting in the position and sealing under the rim, good short range game in the paint. Nice slasher, can catch and score or push the ball back out. Her game continues to grow, she is athletic enough to create plays, and shows good court leadership.

[player_tooltip player_id='900442' first='Maddy' last='Arnold'] - [program_tooltip program_id='712782' first='Richmond' last='Heat'] 2026

A good strong, physical rebounder, able to put her body on the defender and keep her away from the rim. Does a nice job running the floor, can alter and affect shots in the paint. Good smooth finisher. Rising player in her class, good basketball IQ.
