In this 2025 Player Rankings Update, we have some ballers. In this specific article we highlight the prospects that were placed in the 6-10 spots in this Update. Each player listed was a big time producer for their Varsity squad last season and I can't wait to see how they build on that moving forward.

Coming into this Update at #6 is someone that the state of Nebraska is sadly losing after this Update as she will be moving to compete out of Missouri with Link Academy for this upcoming high school season and that is [player_tooltip player_id='276517' first='Rylee' last='McLucas']. McLucas is a lengthy Small Forward/3-guard. She can handle at an adequate rate, while being a solid rebounder on both sides of the floor. Her ability to shoot the basketball for her size at 6'0 is something that stands out to anyone watching her compete. Not to mention, that she has this ability but doesn't settle. If she has a better look cutting to the rim, she will take it and score in the most efficient way possible. Something collegiate recruiters love to see. As of most recent, McLucas has received collegiate interest to compete at the next level but this move to Link could change everything. She will have more eyes on her moving forward so I'm sure the interest will continue to rise. Especially considering she is competing with a well respected and loaded team in ETG Midwest [program_tooltip program_id='713325' first='Elite' last=''] 3SSB the rest of July.

[player_tooltip player_id='316682' first='Maya' last='Dolliver'] would be described as a winner. No other way to put it or other way to phrase it. Every time she takes the floor, she is winning in some way and more recruiters have noticed that as of late as we move into the month of July. After leading a Pender team to a 28-1 record last high school season, Dolliver took her talents to compete with a skilled [program_tooltip program_id='715717' first='Nebraska' last='Supreme'] team and she has been consistent in every sense of the term. As of most recent, she has taken some D2 visits and received some offers. If she continues on this path over the next few months, I'm sure she will have more offers lined up moving into the Winter before she makes her final decision.

[player_tooltip player_id='305776' first='Addison' last='Sullivan'] of Blair High School recently committed to UNK to compete following her high school career. Sullivan has been a constant this past three seasons at the Varsity level for her Blair team so it was only a matter of time until she got scooped up. I love this move for a few reasons. Mainly because it brings a lot of pressure off the athlete and lets them enjoy their Senior season more-so than anything else. Also that she is an in-state commit is something you love to see from an outside perspective. This next month of July should be a fun one for Sullivan and her [program_tooltip program_id='712709' first='Nebraska' last='Attack'] UAA team. If they continue to play to their best abilities, they should make a run and beat some nationally known programs in the process.

[player_tooltip player_id='766581' first='Rease' last='Murtaugh'] of PLV High School and the [program_tooltip program_id='712709' first='Nebraska' last='Attack'] is going to have a chance to compete at the next level when her high school career finishes out but I'm not quite sure as to where just yet. Murtaugh is a quick acting, fast moving, and smart thinking Point Guard. She controls the tempo of the game with her ability to change her speeds in the blink of an eye and when you mix that with her skilled ability, you get a handful to deal with as a defender. Murtaugh is another player who will have a chance to show off what she can do, helping her future recruitment over this next month. If she does her thing, she should have a college coach or three reaching out to her about taking some visits this Fall, if thats ultimately the route she wants to go.

There is a lot of question marks for myself about [player_tooltip player_id='336045' first='Sarah' last='Gatwech'] as it pertains to her future on the hardwood. Gatwech has a high ceiling and some impressive ability. She just needs to stay motivated and demonstrate that she can play in any type of system moving forward. Over the past couple of years, she has been consistent in her production on the floor. I just know she can take her play style to a whole other level within the right situation. She has great size at 6'0, natural instincts on both ends of the floor, and she makes some impressive skill moves. This next season, Lincoln North Star High School will have a chance to bring home a title and Gatwech will be an important piece to their success. If she can play with full confidence and doesn't hold anything back, while others around her do their jobs, it should end up well for their group.
