[player_tooltip player_id='766561' first='Zaili' last='Benish'] comes in right around 5'5 and she is someone that is a determined scoring guard from all aspects. Benish is someone that can get down the court in a hurry with her fast bursts of speed or she can line up around the three point line and kick down shots at a high rate off of the catch. You can tell that she is at her most comfortable when she is able to lead her team's offense and look for scoring opportunities on that side of the ball. Defensively, her impressive speeds and quick hands lead to a lot of steals and buckets for her team in transition. Benish has been a leader for her Leyton team for three years up until this point and I'm sure she will cap it off with another productive season ahead.

One of the key's to Omaha Centrals success this next season will be their presence in the middle and one of their main prospects with those responsibilities is [player_tooltip player_id='336029' first='Pierre-Noelle' last='Tcheuhchoua']. Tcheuhchoua is a Center/Power Forward with strength, longer reach, balance near the paint, and the ability to rebound over most while understanding where the ball is going to come off of the rim on a missed shot attempt. This season for her AAU team, Tcheuhchoua has shown some steady progress. She will get the chance to be a main force on her Eagles team this Winter so as long as she carries that momentum over from her month of July with her Nebraska Hoops [program_tooltip program_id='713325' first='Elite' last=''] program.

An AAU team that I don't see play enough is the [program_tooltip program_id='712472' first='CSS' last='Bison'] out of Nebraska. They are filled with some of the top prospects in the state and worth having a look at if you have chance. At their CG position, they have [player_tooltip player_id='766848' first='Lainey' last='Portwine'] of York High School. I've mentioned York the past few days because of the prospects that they will be returning and another one of those prospects to talk highly about is Portwine. She is someone that had a role last season on Varsity and that role is only going to grow during the 2024-2025 season. She will be looked at to do a little bit of everything, while trying to lead by example. Something that is tough but possible to do for someone with her ability.

Ever since [player_tooltip player_id='766585' first='JJ' last='Black'] was a Freshman, she has produced respectable numbers for her production at Elkhorn Valley and that hasn't changed too much. Black will continue to be her team's force on block at 6'2, getting her hands on anything and everything that is passed by her or to her. She checks in as one of the tallest players throughout the state, no matter Class or age and she uses that to her advantage whenever she can. Her team runs a zone on defense or has in the past so she has the responsibility to take up space in the middle and she thrives as that. I'm expected her to end her high school career as one of the leaders in the state for stats around the basket. With her mixture of height and opportunity, she could put together her best season yet to date this upcoming Winter.

North Bend Central has been a program that is no stranger to the State Tournament the past few years, always bringing a seasoned product to the floor when they compete. One of their main players as it has to do with efficiency the past couple of years has been Forward, [player_tooltip player_id='766605' first='Lindsey' last='Emmanuel']. Emmanuel led her team with 15.5 PPG, 8 RPG, 2.5 APG, and 2.3 SPG on the way to an overall 17-9 record a season ago and she will be looked upon to do much of the same this time around. Her team will return 2 of their top 3 producers from the 2023-2024 high school season so they will need to find some more production in the grand scheme of things but Lindsey will also be asked to contribute more as well.
