2026 Player Rankings Update: New Additions

In the article below, I am going to highlight a handful of players out of the 2026 Class, that have been recently added to our PGH system. [player_tooltip player_id='901710' first='Avah' last='Underwood'] of St. Albert High School has been one of the biggest additions to this July Update for the 2026 Class because of her mixture of length and coordinated ability. Underwood checks in right around 6'0, she is a efficient scorer of the basketball from all three offensive levels, and she can be a stopper on the defensive side that her teammates can rely on throughout the duration of a contest. Her future potential is what you should pay attention to here. Over the past two years she has made strides as a prospect and that's only going to continue with the hard work she has been putting in during her off-seasons. With her size and efficiency, she is a difference maker on most floors she steps on to, no matter the competition level.     Another lengthy and interest prospect is [player_tooltip player_id='837358' first='Natalie' last='Ramsey'] of Iowa City Liberty High School. Ramsey is a 5'11, athletic Forward with a solid mixture of touch, balance, and wherewithal on the floor. She has great size at 5'11 with seemlingly longer arms and a crazy ability to always be in the right place at the right time. This AAU season Ramsey has been competing with a very competitive Missouri Phenom Iowa 17U team out of Iowa City and she has been holding her own at a steady rate. At the end of the day, she is going to have a couple of options as to where she might want to compete at for her collegiate career. Most likely in more sports than just basketball. Whatever she ends up deciding on though, she is going to be all in and that is going to look scary.     [player_tooltip player_id='867471' first='Ashleigh' last='Amble'] is going to be one of the tallest prospects that the state of Iowa has to offer, no matter the Class level or her age. Amble is 6'3 and she has demonstrated that she is a lot to handle near the basket. From all of my account of watching her, she has better than average coordination and when you mix that with her size, you start to see that she produces some impressive stats on both offensive and defense. Not too many people are aware of Amble because she competes for a smaller school and with a smaller AAU program but trust me, if she gets in front of the right eyes there next few years, there is going to be a handful of collegiate recruiters that take interest in her. Her ceiling is one of the highest throughout the state of Iowa when accounting for all factors.     Someone that has been consistent these past two years at the high school level is [player_tooltip player_id='896746' first='Ella' last='Thornton'] of Fremont-Mills. Thornton would be considered a Combo Guard, that can be moved around the perimeter or she can use her size and post up quickly against smaller opponents near the block. She has a solid handle while attacking downhill and she is able to give a good pass to an open teammate when the chance presents itself. For AAU, Thornton competes out of Nebraska with a competitive Attack program. This is another player being added to these rankings with some promising potential. If she is used in the correct ways and she continues to work hard off of the ball, she is going to keep seeing positive results moving forward.     One of the most slept on prospects, that could be a vital piece to her Valley High School team's success this Winter is [player_tooltip player_id='892063' first='Ashlee' last='Brown']. Brown competes for the Tigers and [program_tooltip program_id='712595' first='Kingdom' last='Hoops'] AAU on the travel scene. As of most recent, Brown took a visit to Milwaukee, where she checked out the facilities, eventually bringing home an offer. This Valley Tigers program is in an interesting group. They have several individuals that can change an outcome of a contest with their ability, so as long as their coaches set them up for success, they should win some highly anticipated games this upcoming season in the grand scheme of things.
