To close out my last full day in Wisconsin for a while, I want to continue highlighting some under-the-radar kids, this time in the 2027 class. Plenty of kids have been solid all summer, and I haven't highlighted as much throughout the AAU season.

Guards with tenacity jump out quickly, and Tagliapietra did that over in Minnesota at Summer Jam. I'd known of her previously, and people had spoken highly of her, but I was impressed by how seriously she took every possession. There's a competitive edge to her that you can't teach. It's either there or it's not. Defensively, you can line her up against anyone, and she won't shy away from anyone no matter who they are, which is the best base to build off. Offensively, there's plenty to work on, but I don't worry about any development there because of her motor. I have no doubts that she'll get the most out of her game as she possibly can.

The potential is there for Rauch to become a productive player at the next level. She's a rangy 5'11 wing with solid form on her perimeter shot and has an excellent pull-up jumper. There is room to expand to use her length to finish over defenders in the lane. Rauch also has a ceiling she may not even realize is there. Not only does she have a high ceiling on the offensive end, but I think defensively may be the most intriguing aspect of her game. The length and mobility are appealing, but if Rauch can put everything together, she could be an all-defense player in the North Shore.

The Winneconne native is a gunner right now. Mitchell is a tough-shot maker and was willing to take any shot at any time if her team needed offense. The efficiency numbers didn't reflect how talented Mitchell was, but when you watch her make some of these shots, it becomes abundantly clear that Mitchell could be a prolific offensive force. We'll see how her game develops over the next few years, but I love some of the mental traits she's shown in her first season.

The St. Mary Catholic wing has a long way to go to reach her ceiling, but she does some things at a high right now. One is how she uses her athleticism to be a pest on the defensive end of the floor. I love watching her at the point of attack in full-court presses because she can cover so much ground and use her length to make opposing guards' lives challenging. Norville also records more blocks and steals than I expected before I saw her play this Spring/Summer. She's one to note moving forward.
