This past weekend was the last weekend this Summer that would be considered a "live period" for college recruiters, other than if they were invited to attend the event this upcoming weekend for USA Basketball. With this timing, every program imaginable was out on the hunt this past weekend to look to find future prospects for their perspective programs. In this article, I highlight a handful of prospects out of the states of Iowa and Nebraska, who picked up some offers in the past few days because of how well they did this past couple of days.

[player_tooltip player_id='671462' first='Jordan' last='Valley'] might not be talked about too much in the offseason but recently she has been stacking up offers from the D3 level because of her ability on the court. Valley competes at the SG position but could also be moved around to other spots around the perimeter. She averaged just over 12.2 PPG on 33% shooting, while also burying 30% of her shots from deep and dishing out 3.3 APG. On Tuesday night, Jordan posted that she just received another college offer from Grand View out of Des Moines, adding to the other couple of offers she already has. I'm not sure if that's where she will end up but it's not a bad option in the slightest to have.

It's getting to the point where [player_tooltip player_id='276516' first='Molly' last='Ladwig'] is going to have to start narrowing down where she is going to compete following this next high school season. Ladwig currently has offers from Illinois State, Evansville (IL), Omaha, Valpo, Buffalo, and a few more. Including Cal Baptist, North Dakota State, and Lehigh University, all programs that just offered her, following the weekend. Her AAU career might of came to an end but Ladwig is far from hanging up the basketball shoes for good. She is going to be an active producer at the D1 level for years to come and that's pretty neat.

I would say that [player_tooltip player_id='671463' first='Brooklyn' last='Valley'] has a similar game to her sister Jordans but she doesn't seem to press her scoring ability the same way. She can take over a contest if need be from the PG position with how she manipulates her team's offense but she also crashes the boards really hard for her size and she usually leads her team in assists at the end of a ball game. Brooklyn has also picked up an offer from Grand view out of Des Moines, just like her sister. It's seem more and more like these two are a pair that are wanting to play together in college so whoever gets one, is going to get both and with their ability, that is not a bad thing from an outside point-of-view.

A few weeks ago we spoke on how Ady Jeltema is picking up more and more offers from the next level and that trend continues. This past weekend, Jeltema took a visit to Wayne State and SMSU to check out each program's facilities, as well as try on some of their gear and take some photos. It's nice to see that the options that Jeltema has are growing. She is certainly good enough to play at those levels. She just needs to be put in the right situation with the correct guidance and she could shine before you know it. She should put together a really productive Junior season at MOC-Floyd Valley this upcoming Winter but we will have to see.

[player_tooltip player_id='671464' first='Katelyn' last='Aden'] is going to be competing at the D3 level in one way or another before her basketball career comes to a close if she wants. If she happens to really stick with it and progresses, she could even maybe take it further in the grand scheme of things but for right now, she is only worried about the present and what she can control. As of most recent, Aden received an offer from Coe College out of Cedar Rapids. This offer brings her total up to 2-3 but I'm sure a few more will trickle in before she ends up making a final decision. Her natural size at around 6'0 is something any coach can work with and she is pretty skilled in her own right already so anything is possible.
