Players were bringing it as it was their last Live Period summer event. These six players caught my attention and had me taking notes on my phone. Showed those capabilities Saturday at times. An outside shooter with range as she knocked down several from deep Saturday in her teams win. A ball handler that can turn the corner drawing the extra defender then make the kick, Showed nice footwork in the pull up dribble in transaction. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>On defense Sadie hustled on all loose balls and rebounds. Good hands and soft touch around the rim lead to several scores. Nice job of crashing the boards on offense making several putbacks. Defensively did a great job at holding her ground in the post area against taller opponents. I am glad they did as I enjoyed watching their team. Breena Hill is one player that stood out in the game I watched. A lefty shooter that has deep range from the 3 point line. Impressive is the working off screens to get open for her shot at times. Moves great off the ball finding the open space for the kick outs. The thing that made her a tough was the ability to shoot off the dribble. One time she would blow by the defender and then next time pull up off the dribble with a smooth lefty jumper. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A scoring guard that can in multiple ways. I can see why she has several offers. Great vision off the dribble reading the defense to make nice decisions. Showed the range by knocking down several outside shots. A nice pocket hesitation off the dribble allowed her to drop the shoulders and get downhill. Great finisher at the rim and has really excelled in finding the open player on the backside. Showing that is game is consistent week in and week out. A guard that showed complete skill set Saturday.
