R4TR Championship: 2027 Mitten Prospects

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Run for the Roses brought college coaches and teams from far and wide to fill their mind-boggling 90-court exposition center from July 11-15th. The number of courts under one roof and foot traffic was certainly a site to see. My favorite part of the trip was finding familiar Michigan and PGH Circuit teams who competed against teams different from the ones I traditionally see them play. She extended her shooting range to bury a wing 3, used a pushout dribble hesitation combo-dribble to blow by her defender for a layup, and a swim move over the defender's arm to score a contested layup off two in the paint. She has the aggressiveness and physical strength of a guard beyond her years and competes with a high motor on both sides of the ball. Layla battled on the boards for offensive rebounds and hit free throws at the line. She scored an and-one layup, used an inside-out dribble to beat her defender baseline for a layup off two, and showed great balance on defense.
