Super 64 Friday Morning Notes

I tried to get around to watch every Oklahoma team along with some other teams that reached out with their schedules. Listed below are 5 players that got me taking notes with their play. I am expecting the players to bring it today as everyone will have 2 changes to showcase their skill set in front of coaches. She had monster offensive game Friday scoring in several ways. Showed nice outside jumper and an aggressive downhill game. Scrappy defender that got up all in her girls space. Hustled on both ends of the court diving for 50/50 balls. A very talented player that just plays the game with a smoothness about her. The way she moves with and without the ball creates scoring opportunities for herself and team mattes. She has the ability to score from anywhere on the floor. Nice handles that made great decisions in the open court and half court. Strong downhill driver for those coaches looking for a guard that can excel in a Dribble Drive or 5 out motion. Nice footwork and mechanics on the outside shot knocking down several Friday. On defense I would consider her a ball hawk she always seemed to be around it or getting a deflection. She is a versatile player being able to play 2-4 spot on the floor. Moves good without the ball understanding spacing in the offensive set. Great cutter to the basket with hands ready to catch and finish. Strong body allowed her to defender a taller post inside. Scored on the drive with a strong take or nice little pull up from about 5 feet out to avoid the block shot. Nice handles and strong with the ball making good decisions. The move that was impressive as it happed right in front of me was the baseline drive squaring up on the lay using her body to keep it from being blocked.
