Hamburger leads the charge for a reloaded PVI squad that had a solid showing at DMV Live, going 3-1 with their only loss to a loaded Catholic (VA) squad. Hamburger displayed her versatility all weekend, standing at a solid 6'1", the rising senior handled a lot of the point guard duties for her team. Hamburger's ability to get downhill and finish at the rim, combined with a smooth jump shot, makes her a formidable offensive threat from all areas of the court. On defense, Hamburger can guard any position, consistently taking on toughest matchups on the opposing squad demonstrating her defensive prowess.

Yarnevich had a MONSTER weekend for Bullis in her home gym at DMV LIVE. She averaged 21.8 points and 10.8 rebounds through 4 games, including an impressive 31-point, 9-rebound performance in a win over The Steward School. The rising senior is simply dominant in the post; her ability to seal her defender and finish at the rim made her a handful for opposing teams. As expected, Yarnevich drew a handful of fouls and shot free throws at a clip of nearly 80% this weekend. She proved to be one of the top inside threats in the area punishing single coverage in the post at will.

Brooks was very impressive this weekend for Ireton; her ability to score efficiently at all three levels shows why she is such a highly touted prospect. She averaged 18.8 points and 10.5 rebounds while shooting 35.7% from 3-point range through 4 games. The former Tennessee commit can get to her spots at will, and her basketball IQ is evident in how she consistently finds scoring opportunities in key moments of the game. Her ability to play through contact and finish at the rim was noteworthy. It's safe to say her offensive skill set is one of the most advanced in the area; she knows how to create her shot from anywhere on the court and has the skill and length to match.

Coulibaly was one of the most intriguing players this weekend at DMV Live; she did everything for S3 Academy, averaging 21 points, 8.3 rebounds, 5 assists, and 3.8 steals while shooting 61% from the field—a truly impressive stat line for the rising senior. Her ability to generate paint touches and finish at the rim or find the right pass to her teammates was noticeable. Coulibaly demonstrated great speed, effectively using it to disrupt passing lanes and gather steals on defense. While she didn't showcase 3-point range, she excelled in every other aspect of the game and is likely to see her stock rise over the next year in the 2025 class.

Mary's [player_tooltip player_id='433799' first='Bailey' last='Harris']
[player_tooltip player_id='433799' first='Bailey' last='Harris'] was a scoring machine this weekend for St. Mary's Annapolis, leading the event in scoring with an average of 26.3 points per game on 49% shooting from the field and 36% from 3-point range, while also averaging 9 rebounds per game. Standing at 6'1", her size gives her an advantage over smaller defenders, and her quickness makes her too elusive for bigger opponents to handle. There are really no weaknesses in her offensive game; she can shoot from all areas of the court and is unafraid to play inside through contact. After averaging 19 points in this event a year ago on 41% shooting from the field and 23% from 3, it's clear she has worked on her game and gained confidence overall. The rising junior is one to watch over the next two years for a talented St. Mary's Annapolis squad.

Arguably the most physically dominant player at DMV Live this weekend, the top 40 rising junior averaged 19 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 4 assists per game through four games. Standing at a solid 6 feet, Green's massive frame makes it difficult for defenders to keep her out of the paint. Her ability to stay balanced while driving downhill is a testament to her exceptional body control and strength. Although her outside jumper is not currently a strength, her form is smooth, and it is evident it could become a strong suit for her in the near future. I was also impressed with her footwork and handling, which allowed her to free herself up for open looks. When faced with multiple defenders, she is adept at making the right pass. Truly, she was just a matchup nightmare this weekend, and I suspect Green will have a signature junior year.

The incoming transfer from Ousborn was a great addition to an already stacked Virginia Academy squad. Smoot was a supercharged Swiss Army knife all weekend; she had as much impact on both ends of the floor as any player in the event. Smoot demonstrated the ability to penetrate and finish through contact effortlessly. She also showcased her shooting ability, knocking down a variety of jumpers, including tough shots off the dribble. The rising junior has excellent positional length and was a defensive menace especially at the point of attack. She is comfortable guarding positions 1 through 5. Smoot finished the weekend averaging 16.5 points, 5 rebounds, 1.5 steals, and 0.5 blocks per game while shooting 51% from the field and an impressive 45% from 3-point range. Her profile and skill set are likely to translate well at the next level.
