Each prospect is someone that still uncommitted and everyone is considered an "[program_tooltip program_id='713325' first='Elite' last='']" defender because of their mixture of natural instincts, athletic abilities, physical demeanor, and knowledge of the game from a situational standpoint.

[player_tooltip player_id='342205' first='Jayla' last='Williams'] is coming off of a National Title with her [program_tooltip program_id='779942' first='ETG' last='Midwest [program_tooltip program_id='713325' first='Elite' last=''] 3SSB'] 17U team out of Omaha and she is looking to put together a Winter to remember with Ankeny High School. Williams is a D1 level talent because of her mature of athletic stamina and her ability to defend in the full or half courts. Williams is usually the player that is tasked with guarding the best offensive guard prospect from the opposing squad. Whoever that may be. This Fall will be an important one recruiting wise but it will definitely help her narrow down where she might like to compete once her high school career comes to an end. Wherever that may be, she should step up and thrive right away in any given situation because of her ability to defend. Which says a lot when you really think about it.

Moving into her Senior year at Harlan Community and [player_tooltip player_id='693821' first='Aubrey' last='Schwieso'] is going to have a handful of D3 and NAIA choices to choose from at the end of the day. Schwieso stands out to anyone watching because of her coordination, lengthy arms, and aggressive but calculated play-style. At the next level she should be able to step up and prove herself useful, especially if she continues to expand her game. She has the natural height and balance for her position to thrive, she just needs to keep on working, no matter where she ends up picking as her collegiate choice.

Another player with a fascinating mix of lengthy arms, quick feet, fast hands, knowledge of the game, and someone who competes with a chip on their shoulder is [player_tooltip player_id='655088' first='Ayana' last='Owens'] of Lincoln High. This AAU season Owens received some interested from some colleges around Nebraska and the Midwest in general. This is something that I think could be a great stepping stone for her at the end of the day. Once she gets to the next level and figures out her place within that program, she is going to be able to take her game-play to a new level with the right confidence. Owens has been a solid prospect the past few years whenever I've seen her compete and I don't think that is going to change anytime soon. She is someone that makes things happen offensively, while being lockdown on defense and that is always going to translate.

[player_tooltip player_id='759113' first='Justine' last='Tcheuhchoua'] was highlighted at the end of this Summer AAU season with her Nebraska Hoops [program_tooltip program_id='713325' first='Elite' last=''] program because of her ability to score offensively at a high rate, while being a stout defender near and far from the basket. Tcheuhchoua was an important part to her Omaha Central Eagles team success the past season and she is looking to build on that moving into the 2024-2025 year. With the natural length and agile play-style she brings to the hardwood, it's not crazy to think that she could have her best year-to-date. She just needs to stay aggressive and be continue to be confident in her hardwood.

You might not know about [player_tooltip player_id='311374' first='Ashlyn' last='Davis'] of Westwood High School but you should because she is a force to be reckoned with underneath the hoop and inside the middle of the lane on both sides of the basketball. The past few years, Davis has been a monster in the Scoring and Rebounding department because of her size, her ability to maneuver from block-to-block, and the support of her teammates. I'm haven't heard or seen anything just yet about Davis's recruitment but I'm sure she has some suitors for the next level in whatever sports she is competing in. It'll be interesting to see how she fairs this Winter for her Senior season but if it's anything like years past, she is going to be just fine.
