Over 60 freshmen made the trip to Louisville on Saturday to compete with many of the best players from across the state in this 2028 class. There were several names that have been known for a while coming into the event but plenty more who made names for themselves at camp on Saturday afternoon. Here's a look at some players who earned superlatives on Saturday.

Best Shooter: [player_tooltip player_id='785374' first='Addison' last='Yates'], Boyle County - Addison has a pure jumper and deep range with the ability to raise up and shoot over smaller guards/wings at 5'10. She was consistently making deep threes all day Saturday.

Walking Bucket: Lili Mangrum, DuPont Manual - Lili was likely the most skilled player in Louisville on Saturday. She made multiple high level moves leading to finishes as well as showing she can knock down threes with deep range. She's going to score A LOT of points in her career.

Most Impressive New Name: [player_tooltip player_id='961263' first='Anna' last='Miller'], McLean County - Miller really impressed me with her ability to score from all over the court as well as facilitate with the ball in her hands. Anna played hard and made smart plays all day long. She really left a strong impression on me.

Marco Polo (Most Miles Traveled): Ava Olinger, Hamilton (AZ) - Olinger came all the way from Arizona to attend Saturday's camp. That's wild. It's over 1700 miles from Hamilton, AZ to Louisville. That may be the farthest I've ever heard of a player traveling for one of the Prep Hoops/Prep Girls Hoops Camp.

Best Teammate: [player_tooltip player_id='934138' first='Karlea' last='Stanley'], Johnson Central - Stanley was always positive and encouraging with her teammates both in the game and out of it. When she was on the bench, she was vocal about getting her team to get stops, etc. She impressed plenty when on the court but Karlea also impressed me with her positive attitude all day.

110% Award: [player_tooltip player_id='967961' first='Harper' last='Thauberger'], Mercy - Harper had a good day on Saturday but left an impression with me on how hard she played. Whether it was 3 on 3 or 5 on 5, Thauberger was all over the place on defense. She cleaned up misses on offense by outworking opponents on the offensive glass and she was diving on the floor for loose balls.

Most Likely to Succeed: [player_tooltip player_id='722791' first='Maci' last='Maynard'], Martin County - Maci was not the most impressive player at camp overall but she was the most physically imposing and knows how to score around the bucket with ease. Even if she doesn't grow any more, Maynard is very polished around the bucket and has a long term upside that will only get higher as she adds some stretch shooting to her offensive game.
