Starting in September will be the first ever Hoop Life Fall League hosted by Coach Paul Edwards (PGH Scout & A Waukee High School Varsity Coach) and Coach Derrick Beechum (NXT Puma Head Scout) on Sunday nights out of Ankeny, Iowa. This Fall League has over 15 Division-1 committed or future committed prospects, competing throughout the Fall every Sunday and it is sure to lead to some of the best action throughout the state over these next few months. Up until the start of this league, every few days we will highlight some of the prospects that will be competing and who you should look out for if you are attending one of these upcoming weekends!

When you have the amount of elite prospects competing under one roof, on one court like this Fall League is going to present, you really see who is about it. You see who the elite prospects really are and you understand that everyone who is a "solid" high school player, might not be able to stick with other top players due to their skill-level at the end of the day. A player that I am curious to see against other top ranking individuals is [player_tooltip player_id='777232' first='Melina' last='Snoozy'] of Bishop Heelan High School. Snoozy comes into this League with several D1 offers moving into her Sophomore campaign with the Crusaders. So other recruiters already see her worth as well. It'll just be interesting to see what level she can take things too, when everyone on the floor is a high-end prospect as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='935274' first='Vana' last='Bilic'] is a beast. No other way to put it. With the ball in her hands and her aggressive demeanor, she is a handful and I'm hoping that during this League that she will show off that she is a "top dawg", even with all the other ballers on the floor. Coach Edwards and Beechum have done a great job of bringing in a high-end product, now prospects just have to do their jobs and show up. Bilic is a, for sure, collegiate level prospect but I'm not exactly sure at what level just yet. I'm also hoping this League will help show me more so that I can properly evaluate her in the grand-scheme of things. She is going to be a producer this Winter at Waukee NW, just like she was this AAU season with her [program_tooltip program_id='712377' first='All' last='Iowa Attack'] EYCL team so I'm sure she will be getting some love from the collegiate level, sooner rather than later.

[player_tooltip player_id='311372' first='Emilie' last='Sorensen'] is going to have an important job this Winter leading her Waukee Varsity team as their top producers in most facets of the game. Sorensen is a SG with a quick trigger, smooth dribble, and smart head on her shoulders. She is already committed to compete with NIU following this Winter so this Fall League is going to be a tune up for the Winter season for Sorensen in this situation. Like I keep saying, this League is STACKED. This will be a great test for anyone that wants to see their skills VS some impressive prospects and I'm sure that will help everyone in the long run become more prepared for the 2024-2025 season.

One of the younger prospects that will be there each weekend competing is [player_tooltip player_id='777225' first='Katie' last='Muller'] of Dowling Catholic High School. Muller is a knock-down SG, that is going to be an important piece to her Maroon team's success this Winter if they want to bring home a State Title, like everyone is predicting. Muller ended this AAU season with several D1 offers from Power-5 schools across the country and that list is only going to grow over time. With her natural size at 6'0-6'1 and her picture perfect shooting stroke, I'm sure there will be more suitors for her before you know it. As for this League, I expect Muller to handle her own and show out but we will just have to wait and see how she holds up.

Coming off of a solid AAU season with the [program_tooltip program_id='714272' first='Iowa' last='Battlers'], [player_tooltip player_id='777231' first='Fayth' last='Sullivan'] of North Polk High School is going to be tasked with stepping up big time this Fall. Sullivan isn't going to need to step up to fill in for any lost production but she is just right on that fence of becoming a highly-sought after prospect. She played up a grade level this AAU season and helped her own. She was a producer last Winter as a Freshman on her Varsity team and she is seemingly getting better with time, so I have high expectations for someone like this. I'll need to see that she can take over when push comes to shove and I think that is something that is definitely possible.
