By the time it's all said and done the players in this 2027 are going to do some amazing things. Players at the top of the ranking list are receiving non stop offers, some are gaining a lot of momentum on the recruiting trail, and others are looking to get more traction and notoriety. Realistically, these players are just entering their Sophomore season and a lot can and will happen over the next few high school and travel seasons. We look at some of these players in the top 100 who are just scratching the surface of how good they will be. We hi-light their skillset and their potential. Moreover, we “keep it 100,” literally and metaphorically.

[player_tooltip player_id='811539' first='Jordan' last='Knight'] is a young player to keep an eye on this upcoming year. The young guard has a nose for the basket, good handles, and plays tough nose defense as well. She stood out last year at Inside Exposure Thanksgiving as a Freshman. Knight attacked the rim, was very decisive with the ball and could put it up and score. She averaged 7.3 points per game and rebounded well from the guard position.

[player_tooltip player_id='647734' first='Laila' last='Safford'] is another young player to keep an eye on. Safford has great length and is determined to be great on the court. She is still developing on the offensive side of the court, but defensively she is starting to show the positive signs. At this stage, Safford is a good shot blocker, she is effective on defense in the middle, especially in zone defense. In man to man defense, she has show the ability to cover out in space and has the ability to move laterally. Offensively, she has good hands and can score when the ball is passed to her and she has a direct path to the basket. Safford continues to improve and will be a contributor this upcoming season.

[player_tooltip player_id='755319' first='Audrey' last='Rollins'] is another young player who played very well as a freshman. She took over the leadership of her team's ‘offense and got them into their offensive sets, broke the press, and provided leadership and scoring. Speaking of scoring, the young guard was lethal from behind the arc with 52 threes and averaged 9.5 points per game. “Keeping it 100,” Rollins is a talented young point guard who is only going to get better and better.

[player_tooltip player_id='934758' first='Brylee' last='Rains'] was a nice player I saw this summer and she is going to be a good one. Her selfless play stands out and her willingness to do what ever it takes to win is omnipresent. Defensively, she doesn't back down and that leads to steals, deflections, loose balls, and fast breaks for her team. She showcased skill in addition to grit and that combination is going to take her up the rankings. Let's keep it 100, “she is going to be the engine that makes that Fletcher train run.

[player_tooltip player_id='748532' first='Whitney' last='Hudson'] is a name you had better know on the First Coast. The first time I saw her was at a Reps on Reps showcase cutting folks up with a lot of misdirection moves and speed on the floor. Fast forward to the Regional playoffs and the young guard was out on the floor in crunch time with the coach's trust as well as her teammates. Hudson is small in stature, but her shiftiness and skillset are elite. Keep your eye on her, because in addition to the quicks, Hudson can shoot the rock- a deadly combination.

[player_tooltip player_id='873423' first='Mya' last='Drake'] is another young player who was impressive as a Freshman. She is fast and can handle and pass the ball. Drake has playmaker written all over her game and she will move up the chart over the next few years. Drake is also a lock down defender who prides her self with her on-ball defensive skills. Keeping it 100, Drake is a baller who competes on both ends of the floor.
